This is an amazing selection for young readers because the text is not too advanced and there are beautiful pictures on every page! The book has strong ideas and facts under each title. The information is easy and accessible.

Good Kindergarten-First Grade reading level nonfiction. Beautiful photographs and somewhat educational. The series is called Seedlings. Not all of these books are great, a couple of the dog breed ones are frustrating for children because of the dog breed names which are difficult to 'sound out. '
