Rate this book
This book is a wrestling match. It is abou the prcarious journey of many men in out time. A Bigger World Yet is about an ache and a longing in our culture for friendship and brotherhood. This book is one man's spiritual odyssey.

These pages are for those who follow Christ and what to do something for men who struggle with sexualizing their own gender, rather than just passively debate over the matter. This is for men and women of God who wnat to get their hands dirty and not sit on the sidelines of a topic that is tearing the body of Christ in two. A Bigger World Yet is a song of hope.

This was the book I needed right now. Clarified a lot of tension I was feeling in my life and was a huge breath of fresh air compared to "similar" books out there. Thank you Tim Timmerman!

A fresh perspective on same sex attraction, Timmerman provides a very readable and thought provoking book. His emphasis on same sex needs and the demise of devoted friendship in America, as well as the taboo of male non-sexual physical contact, are all important parts of the debate that are often never addressed. The Church can gain immensely from this alternative view to alternative lifestyles.

One of my friends (who is gay but not practicing) gave me this book. I read it and found it wasn't really about same sex attraction as much as the history of masculinity. Some parts dragged and felt a little preachy but overall the history was very interesting and it made me want to hug everyone I see until they start to feel uncomfortable. Haha
Recommended for anyone who wonders why guys can't touch each other without being called gay and how that harms our society and families as a whole.

This is one of the best books, if not THE best book I have read on the issue of same-sex attractions. The author brought up new things I had never considered but made a lot of sense. His openness in discussing his own struggles and journey was very encouraging. The book is an interesting read, but it is also a helpful and encouraging book that has helped me a lot on my own journey.

Could use some editing (Tim's an artist, after all, not a writer), but the content completely changed my thinking. I am so glad to have read it.
