"This handbook guides the reservoir engineer through the process of maximizing production from a field in order to obtain the best economic return possible. The fundamentals of a petroleum reservoir's behavior and characteristics will determine the course of future development and production that will maximize the profit. The author guides the reader through all the key variables that are critical to the reservoir's profitability fluid flow, rock properties, water and gas coning, relative permeability. This handbook provides all of the information and insight a reservoir engineer must have to do the job right including the necessary tools of the trade such as water influx calculations, lab tests of reservoir fluids, and oil and gas performance calculations." In addition to a thorough update of the first edition's chapters, two new chapters about the principles of waterflooding and vapor-liquid phase equilibria have been added making this book the complete resource for students and professionals in the petroleum industry.
It was not an easy decision to put this book in shelve (read) ,but let us take awhile=who will read more than thousand page just to write a review :) ,the pages I read was awesome ..
