Merida and Angus, a love story.

Disney princess special. Suitable for all ages. Good color artwork, some clipping around the edges. Double tap the text to read it. The story of Merida and Angus, a love story between a girl and her horse.

Editing!

Great story to read the kiddo, but some pages have words cutoff or broken between lines. Seems they just needed to get something on the market without proofing it.

This is a very simple story about Merida and Angus going on an adventure and how they need to trust each other. Rather impressive Merida doesn't fall off in all that panic.

My Review: I really enjoyed this book but Munchkin didn't really like it. The pages were nice and thick for rough little hands. The images were bright with familiar characters from the Brave movie. I like the story and the message of trusting each other. It just didn't attract or keep munchkin's attention, maybe because he hasn't seen the movie a lot so isn't as familiar with the characters, or maybe because it is geared more toward little girls. I can tell you I would have worn this book out as a kid.

I haven't seen the movie Brave, even though we own it, because it scared my son two years ago and now he won't watch it. So I don't know how this book measures up to the movie. The book, however, is charming, with its simple, sweet story, and its Mary Blair inspired artwork.
