Brought up in rural Wisconsin, Ruth Lercher Bornstein was always drawing. Her paintings are widely exhibited and she is the author-illustrator of several books, including Little Gorilla, Rabbit's Good News, and The Dancing Man. The mother of four grown children, Ruth now lives, draws, writes, walks-and always carries a notebook-in Santa Monica, California.
