Reto pendientes 4.

3.5/5 The Edolas Arc kicks it up a notch. However it’s still just so weird and I’m not a huge fan of the villains in this arc. So while it is better and the fights are pretty fun I still have to lower it a bit. I honestly don’t even know the names of the Edolas villains. Lucy fights the old creepy dude, Natsu fights a dude who controls an amusement park. Erza fights Erza. Gajeel shows up and fights Panther Lily. And Gray fights some other pervy dude who makes things squishy.
I’m still having fun but I’m eager for the next story arc.
Our main team plus Gajeel hosting a flag on the cover of Volume 22.
The Edolas Arc continues to see some very big surprises as both worlds could collide in the most dangerous way for their foes’ amusement. A (100%/Outstanding)
As often happens even when I'm enjoying a manga series, Fairy Tail's gloss has worn off a bit now that 20 volumes have gone by. Part of it's the recognition--which has existed from the first chapter of the first book--that it's primarily created for an audience that enjoys power fantasies where dudes punch each other in the face and are surrounded by scantily clad women with huge knockers.
In addition to that, the Edolas sequence hasn't done much for me, either. There are certainly characters in this story that I'm more interested in learning the background stories for than the cat sidekicks, and their coming from another dimension brings on the feeling that what goes on in Edolas will have very little bearing on the rest of the story. (The deus ex machina pill that allows the prime world characters to use their magic in Edolas also displays this series' occasional tendency to retcon rathan than think things through beforehand.)
The bonus section featuring Lucy and Mirajane enticingly talks about a story element from a previous storyline that Mashima's magazine editors (presumably) didn't allow him to include in the published chapters. I haven't watched that far in the anime, and am curious whether its director did as Mashima hinted, and take up that thread that had to be dropped from the initial serialization.
In any case, a few volumes every few months is a decent pace to take this at. This is quick-paced, fun reading that very occasionally hits me in the feels, and while I'm not sure whether I'm invested enough to read another 40-something volumes*, I'm willing to stick with it for a while longer.
*(especially since I've read that there's a time skip which, I assume, exists solely to age Wendy up and give her huge knockers, too. but I'll keep an open mind about that. maybe there's an actual story reason for it.)
The king commands that ‘Code ETD’ be activated (the ultimate territorial defence) he fires these cannons at the Exceed Guards? Turning them all into a Lacrima.. oh, ETD actually stood for Exceed Total Destruction. A rebellion. Natsu and Happy are chained up against walls and about to be extracted from… pain- lots of pain Edo-Erza throws her spear and detonates magic blast, she gets mildly surprised when Lucy survives it (I guess Lucy has handled way worse) HAPPY IS A BRAVE BOY!!! ERZA AND GRAY ARENT IN THE LACRIMA!??? THEY COME TO SAVE LUCY, CARLA AND HAPPY!! Erza vs. Edo-Erza!! The lacrima in the middle of town was purely just Gray and Erza…. They managed to get out because of Gajeel- dragon slayers apparently have the ability to turn lacrimas back to their original forms They need to swallow’X-balls’ to use their magic in Edolas The plan to crash the Lacrima into Extalia Wendy and Carla are going to warn Extalia Gejeel goes to the giant Lacrima, reveals that he has to attack it with his Dragonslayer. Once he’s there Pantherlily intercepts Pantherlily has 2 sets of wings and MASSIVE sword The trio (Natsu, Gray & Lucy) come across an amusement park in the castle where they come across Sugar Boy and Hugh Hugh can control the amusement rides? Lucy summons Aquarius, she doesn’t even put up a fight. But Aquarius can’t even use the water? The will use Edolas Magic Draconic Chain Cannon (releases dragon mp) to move the Lacrima Island Coco doesn’t want lily to die (cause he’s on the island) so she snatches the key to the DCC and tries to run. The king attacks her feet causing her to be in pain as she runs, coco loves to run Lucy runs into her as Natsu battles the monsters that Hugh controls Byro says to give the key and Lucy thinks he’s talking about her keys. Byro turns into a giant octopus Virgo gives her the celestial river stretchable whip- it’s activated by her magic She tied up his legs just in time for Natsu to punch through a wall bringing Hugh’s with him and straight into Octo-Byro’s head Just as coco was giving the key, Sugar boy steals it. Gray jumps in to stop him Gray shatters the key even though Sugar Boy is saying he will need it. Gray defeats him the reveals the key saying “ I can make anything” Wendy and Carla have stones thrown at them when they return to Extalia. Gajeel impresses lily with his skill, then lily says he escaped the kingdom of lies. Gajeel claims that lily will be his cat. But fist he has to show him who is stronger. They both go full strength Earth Erza lost the fight!????? Ah of corse it was earth Erza acting as Edo-Erza to get up close and personal. Right as Thad just the cannon, Edo-Erza swoops in a ruins it… Lucy is riding Legion (Cocos pet dragon ish thing) to try and destroy the chain that was lodged in the island. Lily is happy about that? Edo-Erza calls for the Second Magical Warfare Division to prepare the Legion Squadron The king calls for deployment of Droma Anim. It is forbidden, even clearly stated in their royal charter. He issues it anyway.

I don’t want Erza to be an opponent!!! Edo-Erza is too awe full. There are no smartness, kindness, justice in her mind. The scene which Happy came across his parents made me so impressed because his parents didn’t tell a truth to Happy. I love Happy so I hope Happy would realize the truth.
The Fairy Tail books are always hit or miss for me. None have been inherently bad, but some of the volumes land in the middle of huge battles so there isn't a sense of conclusion I guess? Without binging them it's hard to keep in the loop with all the different story threads. I really enjoyed all the characters this volume though! Carla is actually growing on me, surprisingly. I just feel like, with the amount of character introduced in each volume, spare the main guild members, it's hard to remember who is who. It makes it kind of hard to keep track of whats going on. All that aside, a good action-packed volume!
Okay, Happy's crush with Carla is seriously the cutest thing and him protecting her make my anit-romance heart melt. There was also a lot of great action in this volume which will be sure to entertain the longtime reader of Fairy Tail.

This will be my full review for this entire series. I already read this comic from volume 1-30. Suppose there 50 volume more of this series but I prefer not to finish it as I don't really like the time-skip idea in this series.
To clarify, I love the idea of time-skip. But, in this series, I really hate it. It make Natsu and other main member weaker. Why make them weaker? I want to see MC progress throughout the series. Then, suddenly become weaker. Not to mention when MC want to win each battle, power of friendship keep coming back each battle.
Furthermore, there are a lot of un-explained things happened in this series. The dots are not connected rather than scattered throughout the series. It just there to fill the plot-hole. Rather than explaining, Mr Hiro keep continuing the series and keep adding new characters each volume.
So, after the time-skip, I determine to stop reading this series. I don't want to ruin my memories of this awesome series. For most part, this series actually had huge potential because of interesting and lovable character, but the plot is keep on damaging this series slowly.
I like this volume and it's full of good stuff, but I will say that the villains aren't hitting the way I want them to. While not bad at all, they just aren't memorable...at least in my opinion. Ezra vs Ezra equals AWESOME! I got to say having an amusement park in the middle of all this was.... very strange! ha ha ha But I think it still fits the world created by Hiro Mashima. The art is on par even if the story is hard for me to feel the drama I still feel greatly entertained. Lucy's battle is very satisfying as well. I think Fairy Tail is not appreciated enough for all the great moments that they give the fans and manga readers. The way Chapter 186 ended...I thought it would have been the perfect way to end the book but getting more (Chapter 187) isn't a bad thing either.
Thoughts on this volume" • One thing about Gajeel is, he's gonna get himself his own cat. • The evil king in Edolas is so comically insane and evil that it does kinda get tiring watching him be evil. Very one note, nothing versatile. • Gray and Erza are back!!! And with magical magic restoration pills that absolutely just look like ball bearings lmao • Erza vs Erza is a MASSIVE slay because they just both keep bringing out increasingly ridiculous weapons. Cannot WAIT for Erza to have some weird tension with other Erza when she learns Erza x Jellal becomes canon here real quick. • The fake out actually this edo-Person was actually earthland person! Slay!! • Gray vs the soft dude minion was great! He's a make mage! He makes things!! From ice!

Ok, I'm a fan. This arc is going places and I'm so here for it! Before anything else, I hope to god that Panther Lily becomes Gajeel's cat companion. This needs to happen and it's all I truly care about. Now that everyone has gotten their powers back, things are getting really interesting and some great battles are going down. I'm very interested to see how they resolve saving their friends through the dragon slayer magic and also what's going to happen when they return to Earth and have a talk with Mystogan because he's got some explaining to do!!!! And will Happy ever realize he's met his parents??? and will they get saved????

Trapped in an alternate dimension ruled by evil cats, and with most of their friends turned into a crystal power source for a devastating weapon, the surviving members of the Fairy Tail guild try to set things right. The artwork is nicely detailed, but the story is a load of nonsense.
I like Coco and of course was happy to have Gajeel back meeting Lily, but the battles in this one were just disgusting, even as I recognize the artist’s improvement in drawing genuine stances and motion. The Ten Commandments sword reference was neat though.
Still not a fan of the fighting their alternate ego plot. The art is good and the fight scenes are pretty great. The plot of this arc is just terrible though and I want it to be over.
