It just dawned on me that this is probably not about a Southern biscuit at all but is probably about what we call cookies. I don't care about cookies but will do anything for a decent biscuit! Cracker Barrel makes them. Wish I could get the CB receipt. (recipe)

I've read in other places that there have been problems with some of the recipes but of the recipes I've tried they have all worked fine and been wolfed down by various grateful recipients.
