I had left a review of this book but don't see it now so will do another one.

This book was written by a friend of mine from high school. She is very creative, extremely imaginative and is great at describing her visions in a way that you can see them right along with her. I have no imagination and found it very enjoyable to experience that through someone else's eyes.

The most important facet of this book is Kristine's journey through the realization and acceptance of her disease. She does so boldly and graciously. I have numerous friends who have had cancer and work in health care. This book is a great read for anyone in health care, anyone who is in leadership and anyone who cares about the human spirit.

It is always great to read books by people you know and this one was very tender. I make a resolution every couple of years to read fiction as I hate it but for those who like fiction, fantasy or biographies, this is a great read!
