Initially I picked up this book at the library. It seems I am always on the quest to try a new recipe, so why not one that is super healthy!

My husband and I are already big fans of the Roasted Tomato Soup with White Cheddar Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.

We have tried a few more recipes with more hits than misses, but we are going to keep working through the book. In fact, I just bought a copy so I would not need to keep checking it out.

The book offers great information about balanced nutrition, food calendars, and there is even a section where you can search by the vitamin or mineral you need to get more of in your diet and it directs you to those specific pages. It is a really good resource!

From prevention magazine, this book is designed to help you get specific nutrients and such into your diet with dishes that cater to those nutrients. My problem with this is, too many recipes cannot be altered to satisfy allergies, vegetarians and vegans without changing the whole recipe into something else. Really glad I got this from the library for free. While not for me and mine, I am sure others will revel in this book.
