It was a good book. But, it had a lot of fantasy elements which made it seem kind of child-like.

This book is about a 13 year old girl named Emily who rescued her dog named Zack. From the first book until now they have always shared a special connection, but it is nothing like the one they have now. They both can now see ghosts and Zack has always been able to sense when some one is in trouble. They have to use those powers to save someone in the town that is going to get hurt if they don't find out who they are.

Very easy book to read and had a very good story to it. It kept me interested and focused. I like the fact that it was based on a true story because those kinds of books makes me want to read it. I think the author could have gone in detail a little bit more in some parts and could have told the background of the story a little bit better, but overall it was a good book. I think anyone who likes true stories and mysteries should read this.

This was an absolutely beautiful conclusion to this series. Nicholas Edwards must know an adopted child or be one himself. I'm twenty-four now. But the way Emily talks about her adoption and families is so very accurate. I can remember having some of those same thoughts as a twelve year old.

I bawled like a baby at the end. That was so devastating in the best way. Part of me is sad we don't have an adult Emily and Zach *because we all know he's immortal* series.

A message to biological parents, you don't get to keep secrets about what makes you tick. Sure, don't give out your name. Personally, as a mom and adoptee, I think that's a pretty messed up to make a human and then never contact them again. But let their parents tell them what your talents are, or your background, especially health issues. Do not keep health issues from an adoptive family.
Adoptive parents, your loyalty is to your child. If your child asks what sports their parents played tell them. There is no reason to keep that secret. I still have problems with my mom because of how staunchly she defends my biological mother.
People deserve to know where they came from.

My favorite part was when Emily and Zack were able to help Mrs. Griswold. I don't really have a least favorite part.

This was really a wonderful book for young readers. Well written, but not overly in love with itself. A beautiful story that was simple and a fine way to spend a few days. The characters were all very engaging. Most young people will probably get through it in about a week. Any adults curious to read it will likely get through it in an evening. (I read painfully slowly.) As the old saying goes : "I laughed. I cried. It moved me, Bob." Truly it did and I did. I plan to pick up the first two books and look forward to a 4th in the series. I would probably put the reading level as about 4th/5th grade, but this should not deter older readers/adults, as reading through the sweet story is a rewarding way to spend the day.

The best word to describe this book would be CORNY! Emily is your perfect 12 year old girl in 7th grade. She would like to stay home by herself from school but her parents don't let her. She always does her homework. Her main conflict is that she is adopted and that takes up more of the book than the ghost story does. Her dog Zach is telepathic or something and let's her see the ghost world and communicates with her. I thought it was all pretty boring but might be good in a school library for elementary schoolers.

This is an adventure book about a girl who has a special bond with her dog in the first book (Storm Warning) it states that her dog (Zach) and her (Emily) are able to communicate through a dog whisper and then in the third book (Ghost)it states that there powers have ventured further that they can now talk to a dead man that knows her better than she may know and that ends up turning her life around for the better. I have ratted this book a four star because it is very interesting and I would recommend this to anyone who likes so fiction and special bonding between the two main characters.

I thought that the book, Dog Whisperer: The Ghost, written by Nicholas Edwards, was a really great book! I really enjoyed reading about how Emily and Zack can read each other's minds. Emily and Zack were very brave in all of the situations they were in. I loved how much detail the author uses and how the events in the story all tie into the ending. I would recommend this book to someone who likes to read about adventure and ghosts.

In this book there is a lot of of action in it from the beginning to the end of the book . It it very interesting how she goes on all these adventures with her cool and awesome dog. I gave this book 3 stars because some parts were boring and some parts was actually really good.
