Having a fairy friend can be fun, but it’s not easy. When Nina first met the fairy Sybil and her companion Pandigole, she had no idea the fate of the world would end up resting in her hands. After her defeat in SYBIL THE BACKPACK FAIRY #2, the black fairy Amanite has teamed up with the
King of Evil, Aithor, planning to destroy the “trees of life” that are found throughout the world of the Fairies. If these trees are destroyed, not only will the fairy world fall, but the world of humans, as well. In response, the King and Queen of the fairies charge Sybil and Nina with the task of stopping Aithor and Amanite, as Nina gets closer to discovering the truth behind a mysterious prophecy that seems to foretell her future.

Michel Rodrigue a beau être né un 1er avril, quand il fait quelque chose, il ne plaisante pas ! Ainsi, il est parvenu à mener de front une licence d'archéologie médiévale et une carrière de rugbyman de haut niveau. Cultivant l'éclectisme, il a aussi été marionnettiste, artiste de cirque et acteur de théâtre. En 1986, cette dernière expérience le conduit à adapter le "Cyrano de Bergerac" d'Edmond Rostand en BD. Il crée ensuite la mascotte de la première Coupe du Monde de Rugby, puis reprend les célébrissimes "Pieds Nickelés". Il dessine ensuite des séries humoristiques, au Lombard : "Doggyguard" et "Clifton" avec Bob de Groot , "Les nouvelles Aventures de Cubitus" avec P. Aucaigne et Erroc et "Bidule" avec A. Blondieau. Il mène également une carrière de scénariste. Cela lui permet de partager son goût pour les contes et légendes via notamment "Le Chat qui courait sur les Toits" co-« Signé » avec R. Hausman, "Sybil, la Fée cartable" avec A. Dalena et M. Razzi, ou encore "Légendes des montagnes de France", avec David Pellet.

Ce tome est OK mais... Je ne sais pas, peut-être que je suis trop vieille pour le lire.

Je n'aime pas Sybil parce qu'elle rend tout trop simple mais j'adore les éléments naturels qui ont aidé Sybil pendant la lutte. Même la chose à propos de son père a était trop simple et précipité.

J'aime bien les dessins et les couleurs de cette bande dessinée.

Je la finirai dans deux jour, un tome par jour éloigne le médecin... ^__^

Finally! We are finally starting to go somewhere--literally and figuratively--with the series, and it is terrific (though I still wish there was forgiveness instead of revenge). I'm glad that the lies trouble Nina; I'm glad that this doesn't come easily to her. Hooray for happy endings of a sort and promises of better to come.
