Dancers, Danger, and Daiquiris

The small town of Coppers Grove, Minnesota is in for a few surprises. Cari Paris and her sidekicks, Tracy and Kathi get pulled into more mayhem when Tracy's sister, Tawni comes to town. She's a showgirl from Las Vegas that is unknowingly followed by not-so-nice thugs. Shots are fired and people are wounded as the girls scramble to figure out what the heck is going on. Hunky Sheriff, Charles Barrett, assigns himself as Tawni's protector as they search for the people behind this latest crime spree. With the help of great-tasting daiquiris, Cari and friends follow clues that eventually lead them to 'Sin City' as they try to keep Tawni safe, end the trouble that erupted in their quaint town and get back to drinking daiquiris in peace!

Bren Austin was born and raised in Anoka County, Minnesota. She recently married a rancher and moved to a small town in the northeast corner of South Dakota. She has two adult children that still reside in Minnesota. She cooks part-time at a local restaurant and helps her husband around the ranch. When She isn't spending her spare time reading or writing, she enjoys gardening and bonding with the new-born calves.

What happens in Vegas...sometimes goes to Minnesota too.

When Tawni, a dancer at the most elite Vegan hotel and casino finds out her boyfriend is involved in drug dealing, she unknowingly hauls a secret code, a special key, a drug stash, a bunch of ill begotten jewels, and a line of thugs with guns all the way to her sister's in Minnesota.


Enter Tracy, Cari, and all the chicks from Men, Murder and Margaritas. This time, the sexy man is the town sheriff, Chuck... and when he pulls Tawni over for speeding, one thing leads to another and he ends up protecting her body. *snickers*


The story goes to Vegas too where there's cocaine in elephants, gambling, drug dealers, breaking and entering.. Just another fun romp with these ladies. I really like these books.
