I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This is the second novella in the series. I loved it!

Lily Westbrook is part vampire and part witch. I loved her character when I first met her in Reborn. She is a very strong willed young lady, who is still coming to terms with her destiny - that of being the Goddess of Night.

This is another page turning read by this author! The story doesn't begin directly after the end of the first book, but picks up six months later. The action and ever present danger had me sitting on the edge of my seat! This may only be a short story, but it completely captured my attention.
This book sees Lily travelling to the Underworld in search of some answers. While she is doing this, Xander, Drew and Roxy are on a mission of their own. This story is told from several points of view, and is very descriptive. The characters came alive for me, and I could "see" them quite clearly in my minds eye. I felt like I was watching a movie! If there is one negative thing I could say about this book, it would be that it was too short! I must admit that when I reached the end of the book, I was screaming "Nooooo! It's can't end like that!" in my mind! I am now looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

Ley Mesina has written an amazing series that contains some fantastic characters! Her writing style is fast paced and fluid, and I am most definitely looking forward to reading more of her work in the future.

I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love YA or Paranormal Romance genres. - Lynn Worton

I started reading this book as soon as I finished book one and I devoured it within a day. I loved it as much as the first if not more.

In this book Lily ventures to Hades looking for Nyx to get the training and answers she desperately seeks she comes across the Greek god Hades while taking souls with her in payment to the ferryman to cross into the underworld. Hades is Jealous of the Lily and her powers of the goddess of the night as she is able to come back and forth into the underworld where as Hades is stuck in the underworld. He does however guide her to Perdition where he as sent Nyx after her death.
Lily grows so much in this book as a person and a witch/Goddess of the night.

Xander, Drew and Roxy have there own mission to free Roxy's parents from Samuel who is keeping them prisoner for been friendly and helping vampires. the relationship between the friends grow as well as romance between Xander and Lily, and Drew and Roxy.

I have loved both books in the Goddess of the Night series so far and cant wait for the next instalment

Perdition was a great second installment to the Goddess of Night Series. Immediately I connected with the characters again. I had forgotten some of the story because I read Reborn last summer but I immediately caught on.

I felt like I got to know Lily a lot better and I'm glad the book answered some remaining questions from the first book. Also I'm very happy that Xander and Lily's romantic relationship progressed. Overall I enjoyed the book very much and I'm looking forward to the third book. I rate this 4 out of 5 stars.

Perdition is the sequel to Reborn. Lily is part witch/part vampire, and Xander is all vampire. There’s a lot of pack action, twists and turns, and romance going on that had me sitting on edge. The story hooked me from the beginning. If you are into witches and vampires, this is a must read! I also recommend you read Reborn, the first novella in the A Goddess of Night series.
