Curt's stories remind me of Hitchcock's style. In this collection, something happens whenever the character's enter through the wrong door at the wrong time. The story that had me most intrigued was "Suicide is Painless." It begins with Tim reflecting on how things could have been different if he had only followed his first instinct. He regrets coming home late and finding his wife in the act of adultery.
