A must read!!! Dark Vampires with twists and turns to keep you at it until you get to the last page!!

Crimson by Nickie Asher
Alex Connor is a PI but life is about to change for the better, well maybe. He is violently changed into a Vampire. He never even knew there were vampires. Now he is seeing a friend he thought was dead and oh that friend hates him with a passion. Of course there is a reason every nut job has a reason! Enter Alex's sire with the reason he was turned. There is a Mystic Relic that must not fall into the Warlocks hands or humanity will suffer. Alex also has a once sided love affair with a woman that the Warlock wants.
Alex's life is now more screwed up then before. A hunter wants him dead and will kill everyone around Alex.
Enter a new woman and her brother who is a Police Officer it really gets deep now. Alex now needs to accept what he is if he is to stop the Warlock and the Hunter.
This book was fun. I could not believe anyone can be that brain challenged as Alex was. I didnt' know whether to pity him or wait for the Hunter to get him, I was cheering for the Hunter. I'm not saying this book was bad, it was great, I just choose to root for the bad guys. This was a very action oriented book , well thought out and executed fantastically.

I just finished this very dark paranormal reading - Michael & Daniel are REALLY BAD and evil, the Stephen King stuff evil!! Not a flowery damsel in distress novel here! Nope, these characters are strong - and keeps you guessing as to what could happen next. I loved it!!! Alex is a newly turned vampire learning how to cope in his new life, and so many characters are intertwined with him it's amazing! It really keeps you at the edge of your seat. The author had ended the book well, but at the same time leaves you wondering what is going to happen next! Looking forward to another book in this series!

*I was given a copy of Crimson in exchange for my review.* This is a very fast paced book! I caught myself holding my breath more than once. The main characters were well developed. Some of the secondary characters were a bit of a mystery. The pace of the book was just amazing! I liked the story and watching as the main character grew and learned not only about his new life but about himself as well. The love scenes were hot and the violence was hardcore. I don't know if this book is going to be part of a series or not, but if it is I will happily get the next book and continue on with these characters.

Redeemed Blood
OMG!!!! Okay I have read Nickie's other books, and yeah I'm kind of going backwards in the reading sequence, but it does not take away from the story or make you confused.
This is an overwhelming story about a man Alex, who has had more torment than one should have to endure. He's always loved one woman, would give his life for her, until deceit is brought forth.
Alex, has to deal with Daniel who loathes him from afar, and up close a personal, who threatens everything Alex loves and desires.
Michael hates all vamps, and will desolve them all and move on in his life, but first he is after Alex.
There is a lot of graphic and visual in your own mind that you won't forget anytime soon.
There is a lot of emotional trauma, lies, pain, remorse, love and vamps.
Very well plotted out, This has all the right elements in a very good story. A lot of surprises, that will make you say wow.
What I like about Nickie's stories, we don't have to worry about shifter's not really shifting, because well vamps just are, they are blood thirsty ready for the kill, ready to go forward. She always has a full novel and there is not a 2nd part and a 3rd part. But if you love her books you'll want to keep reading because her books will not disappoint.
I do think Braze needs his story told, and Balentine.

March 7, 20204.5 Stars. Really intriguing story. After reading the Judgment Series I couldn't wait to get into this one. I was left a bit stuck at times but I was very distracted with life while reading so I don't blame the writing. Overall the book was beautifully written and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Good read
I don't know why but I enjoy reading vampire books. Alex becomes a vampire and we read about his sire and the ones that Alex turned. We also meet Michael who is a half breed that is out to get Alex and Michaels brother, a Warlock that died and came back from hell. It will be interesting finding out the events that happen.

This book keep me into it until the end and I want more. I finished it in a day. Great book by a great author.
Left me wanting more. Great book. The characters kept me interested. I would recommend any of Nickie Asher books to anyone who likes to be kept on the edge of their seat.

Great book! Lots of twists and turns until the very end. A must read for anyone who likes vampire romance novels.
