Another insightful set of sessions from Tony Robbins. But I feel like I miss a lot with the audio book since I can't easily go back and review anything, although I did relisten to several portions. For example, I don't even recall what the seven strategies in the title are. But I love listening to Tony talk, which is why I'm still willing to listen multiple times to pick up all the information.
The biggest point I took away was figuring out your life's Primary Question, an exercise that is astoundingly difficult even before you add on the condition of rephrasing it in a positive manner.
Tony also continued to drive home how much language and our perceptions shape our view of the world and our attitude. The anecdote about simply replacing strong words like "mad" and "angry" with "peeved" highlights this especially well (and is used in other works of Tony's).
Tony does tend to meander and ramble a bit, but he's such an excellent speaker you rarely notice. Over the course of 6 hours I'm not sure there was one instance of him saying stuff like "uh" or "um". That's a master orator.
7 fairly straightforward principles that really do make a difference if you implement them. he tends toward over-the-top cheerleading in his delivery which is a turn-off for me at times. I also thought he was dismissive of people's experiences of trauma and loss. Everyone does not have the same level of privilege that he does, and he doesn't seem to recognize that. that being said, I did find several of his points to be helpful frameworks for contemplation and evaluation.
Am sure this is older than 2012 yet the publication is of this year, unless am rating the wrong book here, yet this is the only or closest I can find...
Anyway great book! Another reasons Robbins is ont of my fav mentors and highly recommended for fellow fans

I have listened to Anthony Robbins many times and love his programs. If you are new to listening to Robbins then this tape will be all good for you. If you have listened to other programs there isn't much new in here.
Great as always. Tony Robbins is a well-known speaker for a reason. I really like listening to the audiobook version because his voice is compelling and I feel like I take a lot more information in.
This was my first foray into the world that is Tony Robbins and some of his strategies are powerful. I think this is a great audio book and I plan on getting another from him.
