About the author

David has dedicated his life to helping individuals and families recover from addiction. He is the Executive Director of Operation Integrity and has written three powerful books and numerous articles on Christ-centered addiction recovery, and authors the popular recovery blog, Operation Integrity Daily.

David has been featured in Christianity Today Magazine, New Man Magazine, Leadership Journal Magazine and highlighted in Canadian news commentary for the effectiveness of his work.

David lives in Laguna Niguel California where he is active in his church and enjoys his hobbies of trail running and cycling.

I can't say enough good things about Our Journey Home by David Zailer. Sin and addiction are all about attaching to all those things in our lives other than God. This book gently shakes you out of the fog we've been living under and wakens us to the real life offered to us in God. Who doesn't want a more honest, authentic, richer and fuller life? Our Journey Home leads you in that direction where you can find rest for your heart and peace in the deepest part of your soul. It's filled with practical advice and specific help from one who has walked that path and discovered that our true home is in the heart of God.

I have read this book many times over and it has transformed my life. I don't say it lightly. Additionally, I use this book for a recovery group I lead.
