Now I know why some of the 'newer' readers thrashed my beloved Judith McNaughts' books haha.

Maybe if I read this during my younger years, I will be impressed (at the time I loved every stories that came my way 😜). Everlasting was one of my earliest HR and also one of my favorite. I searched for this title for so long.

Reading this now, I just couldn't connect with the story. I know that the hero and heroin should be exceptional, but too much praise in their beauties just turned me off. I tried to justified the actions, but my mind kept thinking, what if, what if. The supposedly splendor of their love was superceded by the more obvious lust.

20 years and more than a thousand books later really changed how I view a love story.
