Charming little book about life in the wilds of Montana from the perspective of a chipmunk. Not at all fantastic or twee - in fact, there is a remarkable amount of life and death realism for a children's book. I have an original edition from 1933 bought at a library sale; I will have to upload a photo of the adorable cover.
