I took the GRE six years ago so must take it again. This book is excellent! Very clear and thorough. Based on concepts and approaches. Great examples. And easy to read, not to dense great font and typeface size. Will read in seven days and take the practice test included then review. 24 chapters. Word groups. Word root list. 200 vocabulary words. Over 450 practice questions. Use with the Webster dictionary app.
I didn't like this book at all! There was way too much math in it--much more than I am comfortable with. And when there were prose sections in there, they were all cut-up and out-of-context and didn't have any swear words in them.
But it did help me prepare for the GRE, which I recently took and on which I received agreeable results. Anyone want my copy of this prep book? You can have it!
Someone else said they didn't like how much math was in this book. Are you kidding me?!? It is an accurate portrayal of what you use while taking the GRE. Good book to get.
