I have moved away from erotica because everyone has a different definition for what erotica is to them. If I am going to read erotica I like it slow, teasing and with a lot of dirty talk in between the pages imagery oooh yea! Z-Rated is my first of the "Chocolate Flava " series I have read. Let me get this out of the way pssst HOT!!!! The most exciting thing about this book was every author had their own erotic story to tell in their way. I felt like a fever starting at 97.6 and then escalating to FEVER zone 107.7. Every page I turned I was ready for something new and titillating. Z-Rated kept me engaged! Just to name a few; Thomas Slater introduces the reader to Canderick Mann, in Klepto-Collecto. He is a senior executive at Servicing our Community Bank & Loan. His clients are poor woman who are behind on their mortgage payments, but it wasn't just any type of woman who would be eligible to apply for his mortgage modification program. N'Tyse enters stage left with "Swirl" the very first paragraph will challenge your libido, especially from a sister telling the story of her time in Purgatory. Z Rated Chocolate Flava 3 is definitely night table fare for bedrooms around the globe. In all we are presented with 29 stories that are likely to change your ideas about Z rated desires, very interesting read.

Is it hot in here? This is what readers will ask after reading Z-Rated by Zane. The new installment in the Flava Anthology series has talented authors who have created some of the most intimate stories. This collection of 27 stories of erotica will have readers’ minds racing and needing a fan to cool off.
Some of my favorites were The Ultimate Affair by Rae, Trapped by Pat Tucker and Choices by Tenille Brown. Tandy finds herself in a sticky situation between two men in the Ultimate Affair. Tandy's night turns out to be more than she bargained for. Ulysses Washington finds herself at the wrong hotel with no reservation at the right time. Ulysses decides to take the receptionist up on her offer and finds herself trapped in an elevator with a big surprise. Adrienne has been stood up by her date and ends up running into an old friend. Adrienne decides that it will be great to catch up on old times.
Z-Rated was sexy, entertaining and kept my attention. It included some of my favorite authors and it thrilled me to read upcoming authors. Once again Zane has provided a book of sexual pleasures that will have readers fantasizing days after reading it. I recommend Z-Rated to others.

Zane is back with another erotic anthology. Are you ready for a train ride?
I've never been a fan of anthologies. Having read previous Zane material, I was expecting a head banger. I was somewhat disappointed. I applaud her for putting together this anthology of known and upcoming authors. There were a few good stories, but overall, I wasn't impressed. My attention was not held.
When you see the name Zane, you already know that you are in for some triple-X reading. Z-Rated: Chocolate Flava 3 is the most recent anthology put together by the New York Times bestselling author, and it does not disappoint. This book features several urban lit authors, and Zane even included a short story written by her son, Zander.
Though I have read books by Zane, this is my first anthology. I was pleasantly pleased. The stories that were chosen for this collection live up to the standard that Zane set for the erotica genre. Each author brought something different to the anthology. “Don’t open until Ramadan” was written by a Muslim author and touches on sex and religion. I can relate to this because growing up, sex was something that was not talked about in depth, and I think that was due to the religious convictions of my family. “Klepto-Collecto” is an erotic story with a criminal element that you usually don’t see in this type of literature. I also like the fact that there were so many different kinds of erotic stories, from group sex, to bondage, and everything in between.
No matter what’s your fantasy, there is no doubt in my mind that you would be able to find a story to peak your arousal. If you are looking for something to spice up your sex life or just like the rush that you feel from reading erotica, Z-Rated: Chocolate Flava 3 is for you!
I can't believe I requested this book. I haven't read Zane in years for a reason. Oh well. We'll see if absence does make the heart grow fonder.
This book is straight erotica. This anthology is a compilation of short stories by different authors. Some stories are sexy and hot (you might need a towel when you finish reading it) and others were borderline nasty and not sexy at all. If you want just straight sex scene after sex scene with a little dialog thrown into the mix, then this is the book for you.
I'm giving it 3 stars cause some of the stories did keep me entertained and some of the sex scenes were well-written. But I think this is my last and final time reading anything by or with Zane's name attached to it. Just not my cup of tea.
I love Zane and I love sex,and when you combine the two I am delighted in more ways than one. However the erotica ship has sailed. All hail the Queen of Erotica, but my tastebuds desire a little bit more intimacy these days. When I first started reading Zane books I couldn't wait to get to the next book. It was new, original, and quite sentalilating to the tastebuds. But, over the years many authors have watered down the art of sex into an overly explicit sexual romp that leaves me bored and unimpressed. Each other brought there A game respectively in the anthology but I couldn't get past the third chapter. Maybe its me or maybe I wasn't in an erotica mood when I purchased the novel, but like I said the book was just okay.
This anthology was hot, with a capital H-O-T! Omg! From Cairo's story to Allison's and then Abdul's gave me a new perspective on the Muslim culture and some of their values (with a twist). I can't pick a favorite but that's a good thing. Each story gave me a different idea or suggestion for the future. Hehehe
This book was a great read for lovers of erotica. It started out with a bang and kept up the tempo throughout the book. It's my opinion that this was the best book in the series. I look forward to the next Chocolate Flava Anthology.
I disliked the majority of these stories. There were only three that I rated above 2 stars. I've read other collections edited by Zane that I enjoyed, but this was lacking.
I was looking forward to reading this book because it's Zane. I appreciate all the stories, but this book couldn't keep my attention. I couldn't finish it the book, and for that, I am disappointed.
