I adore this heroine who insists on doing the right thing and is reward with love. Her job is cool too and the romance fun.

The heroine is a great gunner with an accuracy to shoot its target. This special ability of her helped her in her job back on Terra and it is the reason she was be able to join the volunteers that went in space. Her life changed when she saved an avatar that was lost in the asteroid field for century.
It was a good story with the heroine being calm, strong and brave. The world building and plot were also good.

bird-brained is an accurate description
A Terran gunner for the Alliance is “volunteered” as a mate for an angry planet’s returning avatar. Her job: handle the scheming, murderous greedy avian aliens who are about to trigger planetary ejection, while injecting love and joy into the avatar’s (and the planet’s) grim existence. A human, an alien, and a sentient planet make for a mind-bending triad. Hot! Hot! HOT!!

A planetary avatar story. The human heroine is excellent at targeting and is able to hold her own against others. This comes in handy both before and after she meets her mate.

I always enjoy Viola’s books... I have never read a story that I did not like... different, yes , but always good and well written!
