A short addition to November, for those who wondered what else went on in Miljan's house. In this installation, the story and identity of Cadet Calvin Murphy - the mysterious and unwilling Carrier guest at Anton Yavisk's dinner party - are revealed.
After reading the first book in this series, I was interested enough to keep on reading. I actually liked this one a little bit better than the first because the focus was really just on the one main couple so I was able to actually get to know them and get invested in their story.
i loved that I got to see Tiger again, he was one of my favorites from the first book.
It seems like the details are being fleshed out more and I think I am starting to understand what is happening to the men who "change". It wasn't really clear before but it is starting to make sense to me now.
I will continue on with this because it really is entertaining.
Somewhat "nicer" story with at least some compassion for a new carrier. Detailed sex scene at end. In some ways this Serbian family is good for the carriers, and some ways it just like all he rest....posesive, patriarchal, violent, but also gentle, indulgent, sweet. A mixed bag for this series of stories. 4.5 stars.
