I decided to reread (listen) to this book on a day when I woke up super cranky, overwhelmed with my huge to-do list, and had decided to spend the day at a pity-party I was throwing for myself. While in the middle of this pity party my husband reminded me of a magical day when had in Scotland/England this past spring. That one memory was enough for me to realize this wasn’t the kind of party I wanted to spend my day at. So, I put on this audiobook while doing my one thousand trillion things in my list. And, it was so refreshing to realize how much of this attitude, overwhelmed, and busyness was my choice. I was in control and could control how I act. Can’t work on every single tip in this book with full focus at the same time, but there were certain ones that jumped out at me as a good place to start to refocus myself and welcome more peace in my life.
Excellent book, no doubt. It has 100 small chapters that are easy to digest.
However 1/3 of chapters are same with different title. That was a turn off. All those could've been summarized in the same chapter. As if the author is trying hard to get to 100 chapters.
One of the best reads of my life . Very simple but very effective. Very practical and it actually makes you a better version of yourself . Everyone should atleast read this once in their life time .
Been listening to this one and really needed these reminders in my life right now! Good book, but I think it could’ve been condensed, some parts felt repetitive.
+ Good book, easy to read and pick up - short chapters and to the point + interesting perpective, nice to think about - some chapters are very similar, so it feels like reading the same thing
