If you do not enjoy these poems, there is something wrong with you. I bet you hate the sun, too. Stupid sun! You probably didn't appreciate the form in "Miles to Go," either. Take another look at what that one does. Do you see it? The trick with the form? It's like staring into the sun but without it being bad for you. It's good for you. So good for you.
"Oh white tarp, flavorless snow one, / Earth's bright wedding dress." These poems wind and wind around the "long stone, smoothed" inside of Brett Elizabeth Jenkins's sternum and now we're all a bit more afraid of the sun. As well we should be.
