This is one of the best book about excel I ever read. The author knows the subject really well, every function is described and given context when and how to use them. Since he's knowledgeable in statistics, you can skip a lot of statistics books and just read the parts where the author uses those statistical analysis via excel.
I read this book in one go since I have been using excel for more than 8 years and know what formulas I usually use. Reading how each formula can be used under various scenarios are great to improve your excel. However, I probably will always use this book as a future reference when I am faced with various questions related to analytics
I actually read the 2016 edition but that ones not listed on goodreads. So, I'm marking this one instead. Great reference book with tons of supporting sample docs to work with. This book finally got me unstuck on using powerpivot modelling with DAX expressions inside of excel. Looking forward to seeing what I can do with that.
