A secret rocks the Harris family and the New Horizon Church family as it shows up at the altar one Sunday morning...something so dramatic that even the good Reverend Trent Harris is struggling to acknowledge as truth… To make matters worse, Bishop Benson Taylor, father of his wife Tessa, decides to step down as the presiding bishop of the Victory Baptist jurisdiction. I love Keyon Polite's work! Mr. Polite took a different direction with Broken But Not Shattered, but overall the storyline fell in line with the first two books. Now I am anxiously awaiting the release of part 2!! I don't want to give away any spoilers, but trust me you'll enjoy this!!!

Applause for Mr. Polite

I have gained a great deal of respect for this young man since reading his first work. I am very appreciative of his direction in life at such a young age, particularly as an African-American male. I have enjoyed reading as much about him as I have his work. This young man is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Having deep roots with Christ as well as family in an ole' school

way has given him a foundation that is a winning combination. I look forward to reading the last book in the A Family Affair series, which I downloaded as quickly as I realized that it was a series. I also look forward to reading some of Mr. Polite's stand alone books. This is by far a well earned 5 star review.
