Lizzie Lynn Lee was a guitarist, receptionist, executive assistant, tarot reader, boutique owner, and graphic artist before she discovered that writing is her dream job. The advantage is that she can do it in her pajamas and socks.

She's an incurable chatterbox, heavy metal aficionado, bookworm, digital enthusiast, and a night owl since most of her stories were done in the wee hours of the morning because of her caffeine-induced insomnia.

Jessica is a woman on the run. A single mother with a crazy mobster ex, a new relationship is the last thing on her mind. Even if her boss IS sexy as sin. Declan, however, is one determined dragon, who's not deterred by a little blood, gore and violence to secure his perfect mate...

Ok story, lots of hot sex. I liked that Declan was younger than Jessica and than he didn't see age - or her status as a single mother -as a deterrent. What I liked less, was the author's constant need to mention the that he was YOUNG every time she mentioned him. It's not like it's scandalous in this day and age, even though it's normally the other way around. Of course, there isn't much character growth in a story of this length, but I still liked Declan for his romantic heart and naughty ways. Jessica was more meh.

Fast and easy read, perfect for a boring day at the office.

It wasn't bad, per se. . . it just wasn't very good.
Felt like it had way too much going on: an older woman/young man story, abusive ex and a mafia connection which was before the dragon shifting even came into it.

I would have liked to get the POV of Declan. I feel that it wasn't what I expected and I didn't much care for it, which is a pity because the summary had me looking forward to it.
