Glenda knew when she married Tyrone Jackson, she would struggle with his stepdaughter. Cecily's mother had died tragically and for two years she had the full attention of her father, who had spoiled her, trying to make up for past negligence.
However, Glenda had no idea how difficult it would really be and how Cecily would continue to defy her. But, when the chips are down, Cecily will need to depend only on Glenda. Will she do it or will she end up in the worse circumstances because she could not accept having a STEP-MAMA? 6500 word short story.
The book was short and sweet and to the point. I like how she simply told the story without dragging it out with unnecessary details and scenes. The characters weren't as well introduced as I would have liked, I didn't feel invested in any of them. And the book was a bit predictable towards the middle. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quick and easy read.
