Macy's come to Houston not only to get what a nice older man decided to leave her in his will but also to meet his nephew Trace. She's had a crush on him since seeing his picture that one shared plane ride with Silas - and now she's got her sexy heels on and she's ready to play a little game of seduce with Trace.
What Trace sees is a gold-digger, he can't fathom why his Uncle left her anything at all in his will - but now she's come to collect month after his uncle's death. The attraction is immediate and he doesn't like it, she's out get money so he has to keep a cool head about it. But when Macy acts truly shocked about what Silas left her he begin to have mixed feelings and having her warm his bed seems more and more like a stellar idea even if she is after money.
Macy's about to get what she wanted, Trace, and she's got a bag full of sexy goodies to try out with him, thanks to her job at marketing and selling adult toys. But when she discovers Trace's view on her she's shot down from her rose colored cloud, reality isn't what fantasies are made of.
Her Cowboy Stud is quick pace, entertaining and oh so definitely sexy read! Not a dull moment in it. If you're looking for a don't-put-me-down cowboy romance then this is it! Of course if you are squeamish about adult toys then look away - this cowboy had a sexy dominating streak in the bedroom, and a girl to match his desires.
Macy and Trace made odd bed fellows at first, a cowboy and adult toy saleswoman, not really a sentence you hear a lot, but they have great chemistry, Trace's mistrust and lust for her, and Macy's naive crush on Trace makes for good and entertaining reading, especially when the facts come out and feathers are ruffle one way and another. One of the most delicious scenes is interrupted by the "truths" coming out and even the reader is left sexually frustrated - now that's good romance writing!
I like the cover, I just wish the girl didn't have obvious double D ( maybe even E ) implants it's distractive and makes Macy look cheap, that's my only qualm about the cover. The blurb was great at drawing the reader in, and Alexander writes great, her characters have emotions that are real and not forced and her playful style in the lighter areas is fun to read.
You'll like this if... you like your cowboys in control, your woman daring and misconception ruining a perfectly sexy/great day ( but knowing it will be all fixed and good later )!

Her Cowboy Stud is a story that’s been done but Ms. Alexander throws in just enough twists and a healthy dose of BDSM play to make it fresh and fun.
Macy Veralta may be submissive in the bedroom, but Trace McGonagall manages to push the right buttons to turn sweet and blushing into angry and boiling in a matter of minutes. Lack of trust and enough conclusion jumping to make a an Olympic pole vaulter jealous go a long way to changing Macy’s preconceived perception of Trace.
This cowboy stud (actually, I liked Macy’s name for him but can’t repeat it here) is going to have a whole lot of quick talking and groveling to do to get Macy back to blushing and all sweetness. I was pretty sure he could handle it and was looking forward to watching this dominant male squirm just a little. Ms. Alexander didn’t disappoint and she also didn’t draw it out. Quick apologies and candid conversation kept this hot train on track and back to the steamy action.
The dialogue is really fun. I had to smile when Trace tells Macy, “Wait until you get a taste of my lovin, sweetheart. You’ll be hooked”. I know I was and I was only reading the smokin’ bedroom action.
Ms. Alexander launches the reader straight into the first meeting between Macy and Trace. That works just fine for this short story so that I had more time to watch the sparks turn into an all-out Fourth of July show worthy of Times Square!
I never felt cheated from character background or development. Bits and pieces of both Macy and Trace’s backgrounds are sprinkled throughout this novella.
This was my first book by Ms. Alexander but it certainly won’t be the last. Her story moves quickly and flows smoothly from start to finish with almost no lag time. It kept me reading to see how Macy and Trace would come to the same conclusion his thoughtful Uncle Silas knew all along. They were perfect for one another.
If quick, hot and sweet is what you’re in the mood for, check out Her Cowboy Stud. I’m glad I did.

If you like a little BDSM with a hot, sexy cowboy, then you’re going to love Her Cowboy Stud by Randi Alexander! I adored this book and give it a rating of 5 out of 5.
This sizzling hot story hooked me right from the very start and had me completely engrossed until the very end. When it was over, I wanted more! The chemistry between Trace and Macy is electric. The combination of their strong attraction as well as a bit of conflict creates an intensely passionate relationship and plenty of drama. I’m not going to go into details about the story line because it’s a short story, you have the blurb, and I don’t want to give anything away.
The heat level is high but there is also tender romance as well as the scorching sex scenes. There are some light BDSM elements and it fits well with characters and enhances their intense mutual attraction. I loved both characters and was rooting for them the whole way through. Macy is a modern, independent woman who just doesn’t have time in her life for relationships. Trace is a private man who tends to seclude himself because he has trouble trusting anyone. In some ways I could relate to both characters.
Overall this is a delightful and entertaining read that was the perfect length for me because it can easily be read in an evening. I have become a huge fan of Randi Alexander’s books! Her books are hot and sexy but also have wonderful characters, excellent writing, and riveting stories!

Macy meets an old man on an airplane ride after she's bumped up to first class. After talking with Silas he starts telling her about his nephew, Trace. After Silas shows Macy a picture of Trace she knows she has to meet this man one day.
Never did Macy ever expect that when Silas passed away would he leave her anything in his will. They didn't know each other that well. About three months after Silas passed away Macy heads out to Texas to see what this old man that she hardly knew could have possible left her. She scribbled a few notes on a piece of paper, "spinning wheel" and "very valuable", along with a few other things. She's wondering why he would have left her a "spinning wheel" and how it could be so "valuable".
She only knew what Silas had told her about Trace. Trace didn't know anything about Macy. He assumed she was after money. Trace's main interests were to get Macy in bed and get her to sign over her inheritance to him. He sure wasn't expecting what would unfold after she stepped out of that car when she arrived at the ranch.

As an erotica author, I've read a good deal of erotica but hadn't read any of Randi's work. I was pleasantly surprised. She took me on a brief, but beautiful journey of the discovery of love between a sex-toy saleswoman and a sexy cowboy.
I especially loved some of Randi's creative turns of phrases such as when the female protagonist was able to stop herself from saying the wrong thing by having a "cranial speed bump."
The biggest problem I had with the story was that it was too short. The story was so good I wanted to stay with the characters longer. But the length of the story didn't really matter. When the sparks flew in the cowboy's bedroom, it was so hot I had to alternate hands to hold my e-reader! Prepare yourself for a creamy read and a good flogging!

The romantic way Trace and Macy fall into their Dom/sub roles just made me go "Awww." The romance element in this book is exceptional, while the sex is five-flames hot! Macy travels to Trace's horse stud farm to get her inheritance, and she is surprised at what Trace's uncle left her (not posting spoiler because you'll laugh when you read it.) When he makes his move, my whole body quivered - and kept quivering with lust for the rest of the book. The sex scenes are the best I've read in a long time - if ever. The emotional connection between Trace and Macy made this book a keeper. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Wow, what a ride on a wild cowboy! Trace is an amazing man, rough-tough-cowboy, but so deeply loveable. Despite his initial unwillingness to trust Macy, he falls for her, hard and heavy. Macy is a city girl whose reaction to the goings on at the horse stud farm are hillarious. She's already got a crush on Trace, and when things heat up, she knows she's found The One. But not everything's perfect, which makes the book a fantastic read. Great sex scenes, awesome characters, and an ending that will leave you smiling for days. Get This Book!

Alexander adds all the right elements at the right speed for this story- City girl on the ranch... dom meets sub... hot sex scenes and an excellent flow to the premise.
I loved the story flow, the dialogue was just right and Alexander met every expectation I had with this story. forget the fact I love westerns and cowboys, Alexander opened new doors for me with Her Cowboy Stud.

OMG! this story was burning up right out of the gate. I caught myself wishing and wanting to trade places with her. This is a short story that is so erotic in parts that it was steaming up my e-reader. Randi is an excellent author and I find great delight in every one of her books that I have read.

While I liked the characters I felt cheated that I didn't get to know them better. The sex was great but that was all there was. Developing the relationship beyond a one-night stand would have made it more believable to me. At times the story seemed rushed and felt like something was missing.

Received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. An honestly, Randi Alexander captivated me with this book. Although it was a HOT, quick read, the story and the characters were great. I would recommend this book as well as all Randi Alexander's other books. Awesome job Randi!

Her Cowboy Stud is a extremely hot quick read. The story flowed smoothly. I loved the story line and the characters. I'd love to read more about Macy and Trace. Highly recommend this story as well as all of Randi Alexanders other work. She doesn't disappoint!

Not enough romance. I enjoy erotica, but I do want plenty of real romance. This one was just all about sex. The storyline just wasn't very believeable, what there was of it.
