As the mountains crumble in the wake of Mura's death, a bitter goddess with a heartbreaking history of her own tempts Mui with a new abandon his godhood and spend a short but happy life with Soah as a flesh-and-blood human! But the gifts from this goddess are never without conditions, and Soah and Mui may find more trouble among humans than they suffered in the realm of the gods! Mi-Kyung Yun delivers another sumptuous installment of her hit manhwa series, filled with romance and intrigue, and steeped in Korean mythology.

Last chapter that I’ll be reading. I just read how it’s going to end and I am SO glad I didn’t go that far! JEEZ! I MEAN SERIOUSLY? HUFF. THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT ALL THIS SHEBANG WAS COMPLETELY POINTLESS. C/O
Soah the witless wonder strikes again! In her quest to ‘protect’ mui, she manages to get herself lost in mura’s domain. There’s more but I just…
I just can’t, ok?!
So we finally get THE reason—apparently, the emperor has had a century long crush on wang mu, his mom was a beeyotch and all the miserable things he’s ever done were ‘cos he wants to get the girl.
…wow.
In other news soah’s annoying moral compass is pointing north again. I cant believe this. Two volumes ago she was full of resentment and bitterness for her human relations and now she’s using it as an excuse? Hypocritical much?
aaaand then i stopped reading. up until this point this entire series was like a train wreck just waiting to happen. and it IS going to happen. so i'm going to bail. but this HAS given me a new appreciation for more talented mangaka like bisko hatori and masashi kishimoto.
Now Habaek has given up his position as a Water God. He and Soah return to the human world where he discovered that he still cannot get rid of the curse. It makes his dream of living happily difficult.
Never thought of that twist before. Now Habaek got to live in the human world he is unfamiliar to. His struggles make me so anxious to see how he will go through. Will he be able to have a happy ever after with Soah?
Still trucking. I feel more emotionally invested in Habaek's parents than him and Soah, but it still counts as interesting. I think we're finally making some progress.
I'm ready to give up this series. It's going nowhere and adding in more and more characters, making it that much more confusing. I will be reading the next three volumes, but only because I already have them from the library. Oy.
Seriously WTF?! First the emperor and now that f***ing woman?! Can't Habaek and Soah have some peace together, without someone constantly stand in their way? PLEASE, don't make them suffer anymore... Two people from two world managed to fall in love with eachother, can't faith help them? Or is this a test that they have to overcome?
