Franken Fran, the soft-hearted patchwork girl created by the notorious Dr. Madaraki, loves nothing more than helping others. But her idea of "help" might not be the same as yours. Even when her experiments go according to plan -- which is never guaranteed! -- they often have unanticipated consequences. Playing with live and death can be messy business, but whether in her lab or making house calls, you can always expect the unexpected with Franken Fran.
Katsuhisa Kigitsu (木々津克久 Kigitsu Katsuhisa) is a manga artist best known for his work on horror-comedy series Franken Fran (フランケン・ふらん Franken-Furan), about a mad scientist who tries to use her skills to do good, to disastrous results.
I found it really interesting that this volume focused a bit more on the theme of love (or lust) in certain chapters. I enjoyed seeing Fran’s dynamic with Veronica, and Veronica’s overall dynamic with other characters. It was also really nice to see that the bonus chapter gave some insight into Adorea’s past and I hope that occurs with more of Fran’s friends.
