I can't say I "learned to draw" from reading this book, though I must admit I did not try to follow along with the examples. And they were more examples than actual projects, to my mind.

Still, I found it quite useful getting insight into the many decisions the artist made as the drawings developed. I was able to apply these principals in some of my own (admittedly beginner) drawing to substantial effect.

Another of my attempts to learn to draw using books. I was less pleased with my efforts this time, probably due to not always having the right materials. However, I learned a lot!
