This was a very innovative and original story with conflict and great, controversial issues spread throughout. The writing was fast-paced, keeping you in the story. The actual idea of the 'game' leaves some wanting, a need to understand the technology and how one puts themselves in the 'game' versus being outside it. I wanted to know more about the concept of the 'game'. I greatly appreciated the way the narration pulls you into the story, letting you forget along with the characters that they are in a 'game' at all. However, this led to a bit of an abrupt ending. With the length of the story, you are introduced to a lot of characters in a short span of time, but their personalities are given succinctly, so no character falls into the background. This story could easily be expanded into a 5-star novel!
