Mia Robinson has worked hard to obtain an affluent lifestyle. With plenty of money in the bank, an impressive network of tastemaker friends, a booming real-estate business and a loving man by her side she is assured that she and daughter Brandi will never lack the finer things in life. However, when Brandi's long-lost father mysteriously returns in their lives, Mia must work overtime to make sure a buried secret doesn't resurface.

Blitz by Ebonee Monique is a great story about real life issues that I think most people can relate to. I found the story line to be true to it's characters and loved the twist that Ms. Monique offered in the story. I loved reading about how Mia came through her struggles with raising her daughter and becomes successful. I think what Mia's struggle with putting her past behind her while trying to keep her good man by her side was perfectly depicted in the story. All of the characters were relevant to the story line and were very well written.
The only thing that I think takes away from the book is actually the cover. I don't think the cover necessarily captures the essence of the story and could possibly deter readers from picking it up because they may think that the book is a genre that they wouldn't read. If readers can look beyond the cover I'm positive that they will enjoy Blitz.
I look forward to reading more books by Ebonee Monique and know that other readers will enjoy her writing skills as much as I do.
