She's mine. That was the first thought that came to my mind when I held my baby in my arms at seventeen. I didn't care that my parents had already promised to give her to a wealthy family. That they were forcing me to give her away. She was mine. I ran away from that hospital, from that family, from the only life I knew. I planned to start over with what little money I had, determined to make something of myself despite the odds. Then Logan Tate came along. Gorgeous and controlling, he claimed he was trying to help me, and he didn't care that I was just another teenage pregnancy story. But I don’t trust him. I don't trust anyone. And if Logan knew the real secrets and lies I was keeping inside, he wouldn't dare try to shelter me.

☆☆☆☆ 4 trust me stars ☆☆☆☆

Such a sweet, emotional read. I adored Logan and Mia.   It was definitely a love conquers all type of read.

Logan was the cats meow.  He was an all around great guy.  Loyal, sexy and completely devoted to Mia and Lily.   He took them under his protection and showed Mia love for the first time.

Lily was so strong.  She is a young mom, who was forced to flee the hospital because her parents were insisting that she give Lily up for adoption.  She knew she would never recover from that.  With the help of a sympathetic nurse, she flees the hospital and sets out on her own.

--dreamy police officer hero
--young, strong and resilient heroine
--no cheating whatsoever
--om drama
--ow drama
--not very steamy
--Brief epilogue with a HFN ending.

Some of the storyline was over the top, but I enjoyed it.   I used to watch soap operas so I can stretch my imagination for the sake of the story.   It was refreshing that the couple got together and stayed together.  Drama was from outside the relationship

While I did thoroughly enjoy this book, I must admit that it did have some unrealistic, unethical potholes and features where you go, “there’s no way she could have gotten through that situation so easily” or “they would have checked more thoroughly”; “in a real world that wouldn’t have happened.”

Normally, I’m the type of reader to jump all over this in a book but for some reason I just can’t help but love this story. I guess what it stems down to is seeing how far a mother would go for their child.

Mia, is a 17-year old (just two weeks shy of her 18th birthday) girl who becomes and pregnant and gives birth to her daughter, Lily. Her parents then give her an ultimatum: give the baby up for adoption or get cut off completely financially and fend for yourself.

Mia chooses the latter… at first.

With the help of a trusted nurse and the nurse’s friend, Mia is able to sneak out of the hospital and escape to Pennsylvania where she plans to start a new life where she ultimately meets Logan.

Enter Logan. Logan is a 24-year old police officer and is literally like Prince Charming. He is charismatic, mature, financially stable, and doesn’t mind that Mia has a newborn baby. In fact, he loves the baby as if she’s his own. Sounds kind of surreal and too good to be true, right?

I won’t go more into the plot from here as I’ve already laid down the groundwork but I will say that this is not your typical teenage pregnancy story. Mia didn’t get pregnant on a whim or by an “oopsie.” No, there’s actually more to her situation than meets the eye.

Moreover, on another note...

I also liked how despite her opposition, Mia was determined to make it and wasn’t some weak and whiny teenager who blamed her predicament on others. No, she made due of it and honed it because she wanted her baby. Simple as that.

A very lovely story where although I will bring up once more that it was not perfect, it still was completely enjoyable to be a part of!! :)

I can't finish this one. At the beginning, I really liked it. Mia had major balls for taking her baby, Lily, and escaping from the hospital. But everything following seemed so unbelievable to me.

Mia manages to escape to Pennsylvania and almost immediately finds an already furnished apartment and a job. The job happens to be at a daycare where she can take her daughter and still work - of all the luck!

Then her apartment gets broken into and she happens to run into this hot cop, Logan. He can't stand the idea of Mia and Lily being in a burglarized apartment so he has them come live with him. There is no mention of paying for rent or anything for that matter. In fact, Logan buys Lily a crib and baby monitor. Then on top of that, within weeks, Logan and Mia are madly in love. Soon after, she meets Logan's parents and they adore her. See, Mia was worried that his parents would hate her because she's only 18, has a 2 month old daughter and is living with their son. Rightfully so - she should be worried. But wait! Logan's mom also had a child young, so she knows exactly how Mia feels. At this point, Mia is the luckiest girl I know.

Long story short, I'm not buying what Alice Montalvo-Tribue is selling. I got a little over half way through and am calling it quits.

Interesante planteamiento, me gustó mucho.

Mia’s life is full of complications, but her newborn Lily in her words was, “the kind of complication I wouldn’t trade for the world”. Lily was worth the risk, worth losing everything to start over fresh.
Officer Logan Tate is immediately drawn to Mia’s beauty and the precious bundle she is with in the hospital ER. After their second run in, he is determined to shelter them, to save them. A friendly gesture of a place to stay quickly blossoms in to more, but both are hesitant. Logan is the hot policeman that all the girls want, but the one girl he has his sights set on has her guard up wondering if any man would ever love her knowing the secret she has buried deep inside hoping it will never surface. Mia has trust issues growing up never feeling loved by her family especially after their ultimatum of giving Lily to a wealth, adoptive family.
I loved Mia and Logan. Mia for all she has been through has a good head on her shoulders and Logan is the knight in shining armor (or uniform) that is almost too good to be true. I felt invested in their love, worried about their pasts and hopeful for their future. There was more to this than a love story with slippery people from the past, jealous people of the present and some crazy family members that kept me flipping through the pages. I also adored the epilogue!! I wish all books had an epilogue.

My heart starts to beat faster as I listen to her directions. Am I really doing this? Am I strong enough, brave enough…

Shelter You is a story of selfless love and adversity. One with some unexpected twists and turns that will have you aching for the characters as they struggle to find their HEA.
This is a nail biting 5 star read!

Mia Reynolds is just weeks shy of her eighteenth birthday. But unlike most recent high school graduates, Mia is not moving into college dorms or off living a carefree life. She made a snap decision, with the unexpected help of her postpartum nurse the wheels were set in motion and now Mia is on the run.

The moon is full tonight and it illuminates the sky in such a way that makes the night feel like it’s a permanent fixture, like the universe is so filled with darkness that the sun might never shine down again. There are times when I feel like my life is like that, eternally submerged in the dark, like all of the sunlight has left my world and I may never see it again.

Mia and Lily find an efficiency apartment and life slips into a daily routine. Mia keeps to herself and doesn't venture out but begins to get on her feet as a new mother.

In walks Officer Logan Tate. He is the very responsible and HOT police officer, that is bound and determine to help Mia and Lily. The problem with Logan's offer... Mia is still a girl on the run and can't trust ANYONE therefore Logan doesn't even know Mia's real name. So she attempts to keep him at arms length and protect the life she is trying to build.

“I put myself out there for people I don’t know all of the time. Tonight I’m doing it because I want to, because I can.”

At first they are just making the best of an uncomfortable situation but then their attraction builds. Logan is definitely the epitome of slow and steady wins the race. He see Mia’s trust issues and wins her over with his caring and affectionate nature.

“Mia, you’re not a stereotype to me. The fact that you’re young and have a baby doesn’t bother me. I am completely in awe of you, of what you did for Lily.”

Is love enough when odds are stacked against Mia? Will her parents find her and try to make her give Lily up for adoption? Or will Lily’s birth father re-enter Mia’s life??? Find out these answers and more! Grab this hot release today!

No pude.
ME HARTASTE.

Descargo hecho. 1 estrella.

STARS: 5 trust-me-stars

This is the first book that I'm reading from Alice Montalvo-Tribue and I really liked it!
I mainly started reading this book because of the cover, and of course description was pretty interesting. Plan was to read this book earlier this year but I just couldn't get free time for it and now one challenge showed up and here I'm reading it and finishing it for less than 24 hours.

You know books when you start reading and then everything just goes easy, you read it, enjoy and time just flies by, this is exact how I felt while reading this book!

This book follows Mia, young mother who decides to run with her just-born daughter Lily because her parents wants to give her baby to one couple, she at first was ok with that, but when she for the first time held her baby, she just couldn't do that and then nurse helps her to run... she didn't expect to be happy or fall in love or just find that 'safe heaven', but everything changed for her after she met Logan Tate, pretty blue-eyed cop who helped her. Through book we find out more about Mia, Lily's dad, Mia's parents and much more.

Now, about Logan, I could write about this character forever. LOL I think I fell in love with Logan when I found out that he have blue eyes, yeah babe, blue eyes, I just loveee blue eyes, but this guy just surprised me more and more, how he helped Mia, how nice he was, damn... from chapter to chapter he just do something SO nice that at some moments it will melt your heart... Mia is one lucky girl! XD
Mia, she is one strong woman, what she survived... ok, I don't want to spoil anything... but she couldn't trust Logan, and everyone who read this book will know why and I just wanted to cry (me and crying LOL) when she told him "I trust you". Oh. My. God. Those two are so cute, and at some moments there were too much happiness, I just expected a BOOM or something bad to happen...
Only character that I really didn't like in this book is Sarah, what a bitch, I hate characters like her... (When you read this book you'll hate her too) and Mia's parents, Lord... I never wish for anyone to have parents like hers, how could they be like that to her?

RECOMMENDATION: I think this is worth reading for anyone who likes one nice romance book, with some tough things going on and anyway, who could resist this so cute blue-eyed cop Logan. :)

NON-RELATED TO BOOK: For all Temptation fans out there, ring any bells, Logan Tate, Logan and Tate from Temptation, that's one other thing why I fell in love with this character in this book, because I love Logan and Tate in Temptation and here this characters name is Logan Tate. ahh <3 Lol

Mia is determined to make a life with her daughter away from her controlling family. She was not counting of running into a handsome, caring cop who awakens in her feelings the likes she never experienced before.

Logan is intrigued by the young woman he met and by her situation. Never one to back down, he tries to protect her and in doing so he becomes invested in her and her daughter's well being. He's not planning on letting her go anytime soon, so she better get used to him and his ways.

This was a sweet story with an excellent mix of drama, mystery and romance.

At first, I was hesitant about how the story would play out especially since Mia was so young. But within a couple of pages she convinced me that I had pegged her all wrong. She showed her resilience and her strong character. Her maturity shined through while she made a home for herself and her daughter. She was vulnearble, caring and scared, but she was also feisty, determined and stubborn. It made for some interesting moments when she went head to head with Logan.

Logan was also caring and understanding, but he had a stubborness to him that bordered on controlling. However, he was always honest and had Mia and Lily's best interest at heart. He came to care about them both and although she pushed all his buttons he never failed to give her the strength she needed or the space to make her own decisions.

This is the first book by Alice Montalvo-Tribue that I have read and it won't be my last. She managed to keep me riveted to the story. I admit that there were times when the pace of the story dragged a bit but just when I was getting ready to skim some passages she managed to bring some interesting fact, revelation or scene into play until I was all in and determined to stick it out.

I loved Logan and Mia together. Although there was an age difference between them, I didn't see it affect their relationship. They treated each other accordingly, always sharing honestly their intentions, emotions or doubts. I liked that their relationship wasn't wrapped up prettily even though their connection was established early on. I enjoyed watching how with each moment shared their connection developed and grew in strength. It was slow in coming, but when they did get together it felt natural. They matched in their attraction for each other, but it was the emotions that came into play that made it all the more worthwhile.

The concept behind the story was interesting and well played out. At times it was frustrating for me to not know what the hell was haunting Lily, but the author played her cards right and when it was revealed it had the impact it was intended to have. I enjoyed how she brought it all together, letting the bit and pieces fall into place slowly, ratcheting my curiosity with every page I turned.

All in all, a sweet, romantic story about letting go of the past, acceptance and moving on.

SHELTER YOU is an emotional story of a young mom’s journey and the highs and lows along the way.

Mia has no one when she flees her home in order to keep her baby girl, Lily. Her parents forced her to stay in hiding during the latter part of her pregnancy and are now adamant she put the baby up for adoption. Mia knows she just needs to stay hidden until she turns 18 and then no one will be able to tell her what to do.

But raising a newborn without any help or advice can be scary for any new mom and it’s not long before Mia rushes Lily to the hospital in fear. While at the hospital, she meets Officer Tate (aka Logan). She knows she should stay away from him because as a cop he could easily realize she’s on the run and destroy her plans but she can’t seem to ignore him. Before she knows it, he’s barreled his way into her life and insisted on being her knight-in-shining-armor whether she wants the help or not. Only Mia has more secrets than just her age and she has no idea just how much of her past Logan will be able to bear.

Logan was a consistent, strong, angel of a guy and I loved how accepting he was of Mia and her daughter. He was possessive and controlling but only in the tenderest of ways. Their connection felt real and believable and I loved experiencing their ups and downs. The reason for my 4 (versus 5) star rating was because the obstacles and results Mia faced felt at times fictional, though never enough to turn me off of the story and characters I'd grown to love.

SHELTER YOU will appeal to any new adult reader and especially those who like a little sadness mixed in with their romance.

I'm a little confused with all the great reviews for this book. I tend to buy my books after checking their rating on goodreads and anything over a 4 star rating I normally adore. You. Steered. Me. Wrong.
Do I think this book could have been excellent? Yes! All with one simple change -- a more believable meeting/love lead up to Mia and Logan. There is nothing that drives me more crazy than when authors have 2 people meet and instantly fall in love. "Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe". Not that it's unbelievable that a guy would take in a 17 year old girl and her baby - but there just needed to be...more. Not an instantaneous I just met you but I love you. I love your baby. You're moving in with me. I'm buying everything for you. Here, take my car while you're at it etc. The story itself could have been amazing for me if I believed Mia and Logan's love.

Wow this book was amazing.I literaly couldnt put it down until a finished it. I loved Logan, how sweet and careing he was, how he loved both Lily and Mia.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I LOVE ALICE TRIBUE!! I must start my review with this statement. Her book are "feel good books" even with the subject matter is gritty. How is that you ask? I mean teen pregnancy, runaway, hiding out, finding love, people trying to destroy love, being found AND a whole lotta other stuff in between and way after...........But through out all of her stories 2 things are the focus: 1. FAMILY 2. Love. Those are such stong themes in her books and for this I enjoy reaidng her books!!

So this story is about a 17 year old, Mia, who was being forced to give her baby away. A nurse helps her escape and so run she does with baby Lily. They travel from sunny Florida to PHILLY???? Yup Philly......she mets a nice landlord and soon an even nicer policeman who do what no person would do and give help to a young mother. Now in real life would a landlord rent to an 18 year old with no job...prolly not but thats ok because this is fiction and fiction is made to make me happy...not focus on the crappy world we really live in. So the hottie cop gets her a job with his friend who Mia tells MOST of her story too. Mia and Lily are happy until.............someone breaks into her apartment and *que hero music* enters hottie cop. He goes alllll kiiiindas alpha male on her and takes her home until her apartment is safe. Well do i really need to say it? Ok I will....They kinda start getting some yummy chemistry and soon get to sleep and sleeping only in bed together. Hottie Cop AKA Logan knows Mia is a fragile mess and takes it slow. Ya see people, Logan knows Mia is it for him. He is so smitten with her and baby Lily.....when she sees him rocking Lily in the chair *SWOON* who couldnt love a guy like that???

SO Mia and Logan start to get friendly and we get some more info from Mia about baby daddy and it seems he wasnt such a nice guy to her :( Logan takes his time and keeps up the awesome guy routine and is patient like nobodys business with this young woman. Logan even takes her home to met his mom and dad. Mia (and we the readers) are ready to hear it from them about how insane this relationship is and how Mia needs to leave but GASP it doesn't. They love her and Lily!!! Ya gotta love that.

So the drama...wow it was good...seems someone has their eye on Logan and seeing an 18 year old with her man makes her angry. Mia's parents find her along with baby daddy. When a big development in the story happens and we learn alllll about Mia and babby daddy.....I was shocked. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO didnt see that at all and was like WOW AWESOME TWIST ALICE!!!

The epilogue in Logans POV was awesome. I was cracking up at his inner thoughts while Mia is beggin her case on somestuff. He is soo smitten with her. We see it in the book but hearing it is a riot. He is such a "guy" when he says "a guy will say anything to get some" I cracked up.....Oh Logan......

I abso loved the story and if you like Alice's stuff you need to read this. It is her first time writing NA and I hope its not her last :)

Shelter You by Alice Montalvo Tribue is one of the best books that I have read so far this year. I enjoyed Alice's other books, but this one was phenomenal. It gripped me from the very beginning. The story was very unique and encouraging. It was one of those books that makes you want to be a better person. Seeing how these characters formed their relationships was so real and beautiful. I'm so happy to of been on this journey with them.

Mia is a seventeen year old girl who has just given birth to her daughter. Instead of giving her up Mia decides to run away with her. She never wanted to give up her baby but her family didn't want her to keep the baby. She plans on starting a new life with her baby. She knows she's young and with what little money she has is determined to care for herself and baby. When her apartment is broken into young police officer Logan Tate decides to help Mia out and let her stay with him until her apartment is safe for her to live in again. Well actually he demands she stay with him. He is also pretty easy on the eyes so Mia agrees to his help. Mia and Logan form a bond and being around him makes her feel like she has a family. One she never had. Mia is afraid to trust Logan. Nothing is more important to her then her daughter. Logan seems to understand what she is going through and has agreed to be there for her when she needs him. Their relationship becomes a lot more and Mia eventually gives into her feelings to have something more with Logan. Mia knows it's probably not forever and that if Logan ever found out her real secrets that he wouldn't want anything to do with her. She decides be happy with Logan as long as he will have her. Then when everything seems to come to light it's Mia who will need to make some big decisions on the future of all three of them.

How lucky for Mia to find this amazing man. He takes her in and just cares for her. Something that her family should have been doing for her all along. She has to lose everything in the process to find happiness. I felt like fate brought these two together. Everything that happened to Mia led her straight to Logan. The perfect man to love her and her daughter. There are a few ups and downs and I have to give it to Mia, she handled herself gracefully. She acted so mature and ultimately everything she did was for her little girl. She knew she needed to be that little one's mother and she did it perfectly. I adored that baby so much. She brought happiness to so many people in this book.

The relationship between Logan and Mia started unconventional and you are certainly going to want to read about it and watch it blossom. It was like a breath of fresh air when these two got together. I wouldn't of had it any other way. This book was pretty much perfection in my eyes. I am looking forward to reading a lot more from Alice in the future.

I couldn't finish the book. I don't like to write bad reviews, I think that every book is the result of an effort but this is a place to write reviews so...

Anyway, in one simple word: Boring! I found myself skipping pages until I realized that I didn't care what happen to Mia or how her story ended.

With books you have three possibilities -of course it's my opinion-. First of all: too much drama. This possibility is definitely annoying. Second posibility is a good balance, so it's not like the character is under an evil spell to make her miserable during most of the book. And the last posibility is: not enough twist/ drama/challenge moments or none at all. This last one was this book's situation.

While I was reading, I felt that the story was too plain and I couldn't connect with any of the characters. Something else that I didn't like was the fact that everything seemed a little bit rushed. Time was going really fast and so was the story, this didn't allow me as a reader to know the characters, to like them...to hate them! I didn't hate Sarah! She was suppose to be one of the "mean girls", but it was very forced so I can barely remember her name.

The problem I found was that I didn't get to connect with the story so by the time the explanations and the reasons behind Mia's actions came I just wasn't interested anymore and though I didn't finish the book I feel like I know how it all ended.

And my little sidenote for the book is: What was that girl thinking?!

A cop -pretty much a stranger- comes to your place and orders you to live with him and after everything you've been through you go live with him taking your baby just like that?! why? Because he looks like this and has beautiful eyes?

Because he is a cop? Yeah they are to serve and protect and all that, but some of them are just like the police in Gotham and they all have access to guns Not OK

It all looked like the author wanted to get them together at all cost and I just didn't buy it. I'm not a negative person but meetiing all these nice and understanding people? Not normal.

My Favorite so far...

I have read all of Alice's books and Shelter You touched my heart in a deeper and completely different way. I mean, don't get wrong, Translation & Desperation are really sexy and romantic books but this book took me on a ride and I didn't want get down from it.

So you probably already know that Mia is on the run with her baby girl. At 17yo she couldn't but mostly didn't want to stand up to her parents when they demanded she gave her daughter up for adoption. So with the help of a nurse she ran away.

On her final destination of PA she meets Logan. Oh, Logan! How I adore Logan!! Logan is a 24yo police officer with super hero aspirations, lol. He took Mia and Lily under his wing and gave them all the love and support they needed. He has good values, supportive parents, cool siblings, and everything a girl could ask for in a man. I loved his alpha male behavior and the way he takes charge from the get go.

This is NOT your typical teenage pregnancy story. The story is profound and complex. Mia is not a teenager drove by hormones. I love her courage and the way she fights for her daughter.

I fell in love with the way the author was able to describe Logan's relationship with Lily. And the way she described Mia's feelings towards maternity... wow!

I wish I could tell more because ironically I DO LIKE spoilers, but I feel that with this book regardless of what I could say, it wouldn't make justice, you really need to read it.

Again, an incredible book! I hope Alice Montalvo-Tribue continues writing this type of book. So far she's been able to touch different contemporary and complex subjects like, domestic violence, commitment issues due to family trauma, rape, death, OD, depression, without turning her books into a crying fest but keeping all about the power of love. I would also like for her to write in H&h POV instead of just the h's POV. The little we got on the epilogue of Logan was not enough :-(

No puedo. Simplemente me desespera.

Shelter You begins when Mia decides to take her baby from the hospital and run. She's almost eighteen but her parents are trying to force her to give up her baby for adoption. But Mia just can't do that. So she decides to run far away and hide until she's old enough to get a say in the matter. She never realized how hard it would be until she finally finds the place to stay. There she ends up meeting a police office who she's instantly attracted to but she knows nothing can ever come of it for numerous reasons. Logan, the cop, decides to help Mia out by finding her a job, and even a place to stay after something happens to her apartment. But these two have a whole lot get through in order for there to be more than friendship. Mia is holding so much back including her real name.. And Logan wants her for who she is, and her baby as well..

This was a beautiful sad story about a very young woman who decides to take her own life in her hands after basically being hurt by the people she trusted the most. She doesn't trust anyone now, and it makes things difficult for her. But she wants to keep her baby safe and happy. Then in comes Logan who also has a few demons he's battling but he wants Mia and Lily for himself now. He helps Mia learn what it means to have a real family, and love between people. This story was beautiful and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was very very good, and very well written. I loved the plot line, and all of the characters as well!

**** EROTICA BOOK CLUB REVIEW ****

Shelter You

by Alice Montalvo-Tribue

Mia is 17 and has just given birth to a beautiful baby girl, her parents want her to give the baby up for adoption but Mia wants to keep her so with the help from a nurse at the hospital Mia escapes with her baby to make an new start.
Logan Tate is a police officer and is attracted to her when he firsts sees her and wants to help and protect her. When her apartment is broken into he insist that she comes and stays with him but her past all catches up with her!

I really loved this book and be warned it gets quite emotional as the story all unfolds. Mia is such a strong and brave young woman and I really felt sorry for her, I just want her to be happy!
Logan is such a lovable character he is sweet and sensitive and it really did make a brilliant change to the cocky men in most books, He is such a nice and loving guy that will melt any girls heart. I hate Mia's parents and I have a hard time understanding why they did this to their daughter but also understand that there are people out there that act like this.
This is an awesome read that I really couldn't put down and I really hope to read more from this author in the near future.

Logan right off you could tell that he was a caring person, "I really appreciate it." He pats Lily on the back and then looks back up at me. "I'll check in on you a little later today?" I mean he is seriously caring, "I know, I'm sorry. I just got off duty and thought that you might be scared here all alone. I just wanted to drop by and check in on you," he says, his hands buried in the pocket of the jeans that he wears oh so well." He's a bossy a** as well, "Kelly, pack a bag, get Lily and let's go. You're coming with me." Mia is just so cute and I loved a certain scene in the book:
"S***, sorry." I grimace, backing up slowly. "I didn't know you'd be in here and then I saw you guys and thought I'd take a picture. I forgot that I had just taken a shower."
He tugs at his lower lip, tilts is head and stares at me.
"I don't normally walk around in a towel." I ramble, shaking my head. I sound like an idiot but I'm mortified and I don't know what else to say.
"That's a shame," he replies with a mischievous grin.
When it comes to Mia and Lily, Logan is seriously so caring, and loving, "he takes my hand and gently tugs me into the room. "You never have to knock baby," he says, closing the door after me."

**Received a copy in exchange for an honest review**

I love the story of Shelter You.
From the start up to the last it got my interest.
The concept of the story is good and I love the characters.

The characters, Logan and Mia, I love them.
They are easy to relate with and love.
Logan, I love his personality.
He’s compassionate and dedicated to the ones he loves.
What I also loved the most about Logan is his loyalty and his passion to protect and love the ones that is important to him.
For me, he’s one of my ideal man.. **swoon**
Mia on the other hand, she’s sweet and a loving mother.
Despite the things that happened to her, I love how she pushed through.
She never gave up and I love her dedication. (And she’s not whiny!)

The story, I loved it!!
I mean REALLY, REALLY LOVED it!!!
The concept and the flow of the story are great.
It’s easy to follow and understand.
The story, man I cried on some parts of the book.
I love how the author brought the story to the next level.
I can easily feel the build up and the emotions of the characters (which are really great).
The way the story ended, it’s amazing!
I’m not disappointed on how things went.. Loved it!!
This book is REALLY worth it!

For Mia....life of an adult begins at her 17-year-old age with new beautiful born baby Lily. I must say it is one hell of a story. Her bravery of running away and start her own life as a young mother is quite reverent. I don’t want to be a spoiler but believe me when i say that the book will captivate you since the first page. Mia is a strong character but she is definitely not a damsel in distress type of girl. Logan is caring and passionate young cop.

Overall, the title ‘Shelter You’ said a lot about the story content but not all. We will be shocked of who is Lily’s father and we will take a bow at Mia’s innocence and her courage in stand up for herself and determine to raise Lily. My standing applause is dedicated to Logan’s loyalty and love for Mia. He did help Mia but his patience and devotion for Mia and Lily where way off the chart. My middle finger is solely dedicated to Mia’s fuck-up-in-the-head parents. How stupid and ignorant they were to neglect Mia and force her to give up her baby which is their own granddaughter.

All the above explained will be a live-experience when you read it for yourself. This is a total 5 stars Stand-alone Novel!!!

I have no idea how I came across this book or why I downloaded a sample but I do know that I had to get out of bed in the wee small hours to get online to download the whole book!

Mia's had a complicated life that's just been compounded by the arrival of her baby daughter Lily but if nothing else Mia is going to protect and love her baby whatever it takes she'll do it. Officer Tate is 6 years older and he spots the young mum and her baby and that's all it takes!

Really enjoyed this book, its a nice love story that warms the cockles of your heart! You'll just want to keep Logan because he's lovely!

Don't expect this book to change your life, it won't, it is what it is and that's a lovely sweet romance with a guy who just wants to protect a girl and her baby and if i'm honest it makes a nice change from bad boys, rock stars, billionaire playboys, alpha males and cheating sportsmen! I thank Alice Montal vo-Tribue for it and will be adding her to my "check for new books" list.
