It's Misery does love company. But what kind of company can you keep if you can't stand anyone ? This kind. No matter who they are or what they do that sets you off and gets you going, you'll find 'em inside. From rich people who are dicks to guys named Rich who go by Dick to those who are always cold to people who are just hot, no one is safe. But one thing is certain—everyone will find someone they equally despise. And you're gonna love it, period.
Matthew DiBenedetti redefines the term hater. As the author who spews loathing about all "those" people who we can't tolerate, in I Hate Everyone.; and leaves nothing untouched in the similarly spiteful I Hate Everything.; he knows exactly what's up when it comes down to hating on everything and everyone. Inspired by too many years in a life sucking corporate job, and supported by a deep groundwork of family, friends, relationships and real "life" in a dark corner of New Jersey; even cheerful optimists will commiserate with and come love to hate with Matt.
Actually I read this book last year on 3rd May 2019 at 8: 58am .And due to some reason I unfortunately lost the review .But thank God before removing the book .I took screenshots and Now here is that Review which I wrote last year after reading this book . I read this book in one sitting. I was not feeling well .I was getting bore so i decided to read this book I was not expecting this book ll be so good. But it is really a good book. I was so lost in reading that i turned 100 pages in 30 mins and it is only book that i have finished in just 2 hours. I hate the people who hate this book. It was really fun to read this book. I feel annoyed over a lot of people while reading this book .But it was fun. The one thing i like in this book is a phrase "I Hate" every line or sentence starts with this phrase I never read any book so fast in one go but this book is so good that i couldn't stop myself from reading it. Really a great book. Here is a long list of things i hate and i really do hate just as the writer do. I hate people who take a mile when you give them an inch. I hate friends for not being real friends I hate people who only call when they need something.
I hate needy people. I hate clingy people. I hate unoriginal people.
I hate people who ask, "How are you doing?' but don't really care.
I hate myself for answering them.
I hate everyone who makes me not want to care anymore either. I hate people who critique everything I do. I hate people who claim their significant other is their best friend... but they don't tell them everything. I hate hypocrites.I hate people with hate everyone all fake smiles. I hate people who block their Wi-Fi.I hate people who, um, use the word, um, in every other, um, breath.I hate people who start by saying, "I don't mean to offend you . but," and then go ahead and do it anyway. I hate smokers whose houses and cars smell like them. I hate people who make me feel small.I hate people who forget my birthday. especially in my own family.I hate powerful people who don't do good with their power. I hate people who try to scare me during an intense movie scene. I hate people who don't encourage you to try. I hate people who talk behind your back. I hate unappreciative people.I hate EVERYONE who can't take a joke.
This book was so funny. I was laughing my head off for some of the pages. All around a fun read....it secures your belief that it is in fact possible for someone to hate everyone like you do. ;)
This is a cute collection of things people do that are annoying. I found the author had covered a lot that personally bother me. As for many of the others...apparently, I AM that person! This was a gift from a dear friend who knows me too well.
I hate people who hate this book. I read this in about half an hour and couldn't stop chuckling! My friend gave it to me as a gag figt for my birthday but, to me, it didn't seem like a gag because I related to it so well. I loved every line and every illustration.
Real funny, real true in life, we all hate certain people, traditions, eccentricities, caprice, habits and tendencies of some people we just pretend to like.
I hate to write this review. I hate to have wasted my precious one hour reading this book full of reasons to hate people.
I don't understand the reason why this book was even published. There is enough negativity around and this one just goes on and on and on why the author hates people. Hate is a strong word and trying to make it sound funny was just senseless.
There is nothing in the book except pages full of reasons to hate.
I laughed out loud a few times and agreed with 72% of the things said. That made me feel validated, but this entire book could have been a blog post. It didn’t need to be a book.
Well, I'm becoming more of a misanthrope as the days go by and I get older so of course this caught my eye. I enjoy rant-y style books so this was right up my alley. Everything doesn't have to be so perfectly pieced together and filtered multiple times to make a story's point come across clearly.
I hate that I feel the need to write some more words to express how I enjoyed this one, but I think just saying that I additionally hate/am bothered by a lot of things in this world (serious and not so serious) is sufficient.
I HATE AUTHORS WHO CAN'T COME UP WITH ENOUGH NEW STUFF TO FILL THEIR NEW BOOK. Seriously, so much of the stuff in this book is just recycled from I Hate Everything but just reworded so that the object of the author's scorn is a person instead of a thing. Laaaaaaaame.
I did find this book relatable, not gonna lie. Kinda hate myself for that.
(I don't care if it's "humor", I’m deducting a full star for the ~problematic~ comments on non-English speakers, for saying Chewbacca has to be a girl “because she loved Han Solo” and iffy lines about people who say no and "women who hit/men who slap"...what about MEN WHO HIT????).
I read this book right before I read I Hate Everything by the same author. It sure was good timing to have such a laugh! The book is hilarious! It's small and thick, but each page has either very little text on it or just an illustration. Read this if you want a laugh!
