Damn, I was just thinking how it feels like last week I was reading Book 16, but I think that was months ago... (April)
Seline has had a crush on her Protector, the Dark Kindred, Nox, for some time now, but it's always seemed harmless/impossible because as a Dark Kindred, he has no emotions. However, Nox is starting to have feelings. The two of them are sent out on a mission to recover the other half of a box that has the ability to warp time and space because, in the wrong hands, it could be dangerous. Seline accidentally wishes them in another alternate universe where they must recover the other half of the box to be sent back to their universe.
I think it's interesting how Evangeline has been exploring the ideas of different universes lately, first with Trapped in Time, a Tales of the Kindred novel, and books with the Cruel Father as the protagonist. It was hot to see Nox discover emotions for the first time. I wish the idea of him being a male virgin was acknowledged because there was no mention of it, but I'm sure he was (because he didn't have feelings of lust before to want to have sex with any particular woman)!
I'd love Evangeline to write stories in the alternative universe where the Kindred are female, especially books for Commanders Sylvania and Bairdida.

Nox is assigned as protector to Seline, he accompanies her on missions. He is a Kindred with no emotions...or so he thinks. It's going to take his soul mate to open up his feelings.
I really enjoyed all the twists and turns in this story, easy mission...ah no. One incident after another, will they ever get back to their own space and time and will they remember.
It may take the Goddess to intervene.
Great series, I look forward to the next story.

Evangeline Anderson went all Dr. Frankenstein on her Kindred and created a multiverse “monster” using bits and pieces from stories throughout the series, creating a loophole for endless story possibilities. I think that this may be the beginning of another series.
Nox and Seline play their parts well going back and forth to Yonnite Six during Kindred missions. Now they are asked to retrieve an important Kindred artifact from a powerful Mistress across the galaxy. However, things don’t go well at the beginning of their journey, and they end up in another universe where they must switch positions and learn to adapt very quickly.
Nox and Seline have a dynamic partnership and get along well. This trip brings them closer together and calls out the needs inside their hearts. Emotions are messy and Nox gets hits with them all. Seline learns to ask for what she desires, and her emotions give strength to Nox. Their chemistry is off the charts. This is a scorching page-turner of a story not to be missed.
There are strong D/s and BDSM themes throughout the story so fair warning. Never fear though, Evangeline Anderson always delivers a HEA or HFN after putting her characters through the ringer! This story doesn’t have a cliff-hanger, it is complete, but the circumstances open possibilities.

This book didn't work for me. I really liked the hero's character.
But there was a lot of public sex. Their first time being physically intimate is in a banquet hall with lots of people watching. Then later that same day the hero is told heroine must be wearing a butt plug and people watch while he inserts one into the heroine.
The heroine acted unprofessional when they worked together and she would wear tiny outfits knowing he'd have to kneel and kiss her as part of their "cover". She'd wear tiny panties that didn't cover anything so he'd be forced to look at her. Not cool.
She was playing with a Kindred artifact and nobody knew what it did exactly. She took it out of the box and was holding it for no reason. She was just unprofessional and it was her fault they got stuck in a different timeline. Why were you touching the magic box?

I enjoyed reading 📚this book. Sometimes while reading 📚I felt like I couldn't but the book down. I liked all the names of the characters. I liked the chapters with Yipper again. I would like to read more books 📚about a lady bride called Slyvinie and her universe and her lady friends which are not with kindred yet. I liked the idea 💡of having a mental arm and fingers that vibrates and want to learn more in another book maybe. I liked the idea 💡of reading 📚more of Evangeline Anderson books 📚 on kindle unlimited this time and would like to read more books 📚 that are not in kindle unlimited. I do like both ways. I liked the sex scences this time again. I miss reading 📚about the mothership and would like to go they more in the books 📚. I would like to read more books 📚about the Monstrum kindred too in the furtune. 😀

I have mixed feelings about this book and that cost a star. Nox is the Kindred warrior protecting diplomat Seline. As they are crossing through folded space, they end up in an alternate universe (I’ve always worried that could happen!). Together they end up in a BDSM community. What cost a star is there is an incident of less than consensual sex which didn’t involve our couple. Apparently the female enjoyed it and this fits w/ BDSM though is not cool to me. I really like this couple. Their chemistry and personalities work for me. I love how Evangeline mixed her quirky humor w/ this BDSM dungeon. It kept it from getting too dark which turns me off many BDSM books. I love the possibilities this new universe brings to our future stories. I received an ARC for my honest review.

Green is my new favorite color. Nox, a Dark Kindred is assigned to travel with diplomat Seline during missions representing the Kindred on the Mother ship.
Since Dark Kindred do not experience emotions, It makes it difficult for Seline to express how she feels about him.
When their latest mission to retrieve an ancient artifact goes sideways, they find themselves experiencing an emotional tsunami.
Will these new feelings hinder the mission and prevent them from pursuing a new life together once back home?
Excellent world building with endless possibilities to explore!

What a great story! It has everything....excitement, danger, attraction, confusion, love and of course a few bad guys that would benefit from a nice cell somewhere in space.
Nox and Seline were perfect for each other, even if only one of them knew it for a time. Their intimate times were very enjoyable to read . Their connection made them being together inevitable.
The Goddess knows what she is doing.

I swear Sci-Fi romance peril tropes were NOT my thing. But then I stumbled upon Evangeline Anderson and have NEVER looked back.

Can they escape the many perils that await them, find the ancient Kindred artifact, and still find their way to each other?
Yet another masterfully written story by Ms. Evangeline. She found the perfect way to intertwine two people, two universes, the good, the bad, and hope in a way that leaves many doors open for more kindred tales to come.

This latest adventure in the Kindred world involves a temporal switch to an alternate universe. It opens many opportunities for the continuing stories to explore. I enjoyed the story of Nox and Seline as they were thrust into this alternate world. There was less misunderstandings in this story which I greatly appreciated. There was a brief moment but, as always, the Kindred goddess intervened and all worked out he poly ever after.

This was a fantastic read. I was loving and hear for the whole multiverse using bits and pieces from previous stories throughout the series, creating a loophole for endless story possibilities. It may be the beginning of another fantastic series I really hope she go through with it. I love the concept of the female kindred calling male brides to the mothership. I liked that this one brought us to all new places with a very interesting twist that kept evolving as the story went. Selina is our heroine and she is sharp and you can tell she has some sass. She also happens to like a certain Kindred protector. Unfortunately our hero has no emotions. But that doesn’t stop her from trying to get some type of emotion out of him. They will go on an adventure that will change their view of their own universe. It will have plenty of danger and maybe some new friends.

Was very surprised at the errors that were in this. Despite that (couple of parts were wrong name) made some things a little difficult. Would have been fun for Seline and Nox to explain about the others from the alternate universe with the guys being girls and it seemed that the personalities followed along with them.
That might be a good series to off shoot this one.........

Wow this was definitely a page turner, I couldn't put it down . I absolutely loved the alternate universe theme going on and how they both got to act on their hidden desires and were couple in the end. I love how he doesn't have emotions and then suddenly starts to experience them and has to navigate that who set of things. absolutely brilliant book. I definitely recommend reading this

It would be great to see the Female Version of the Kindred call for their mates. So many stories to have. Also, the Scientist searching for his wife in another Universe sounds very good too. I can't wait to read them all. The Kindred Universe is a Wonderful Universe to read and get lost in!!! I Can Wait 😁!!!

I loved this one!! The way everything was swapped was awesome!! I couldn’t put it down. I will say, I seriously hope we get a spin-off with this version of characters.(no spoilers) I desperately want to know what happens with the alternate characters after the stars of this book continue their journey. Very Interesting
The storyline of this book offered several twists and turns. Evangeline has quite an imagination. Some chapters were quite hilarious; some chapters were filled with hot romance. I can imagine William Martin and/or Mackenzie Cartwright performing the reading of the audiobook. Can’t wait until it is released!

Amazing! Tantalizing! I loved this storyline. You have a kindred warrior who is dealing with emotions for the first time, can you imagine. This opens up the possibilities for misadventures both good and bad. Finding everything thing you know is in reverse, the things you can get into. i have absolutly no shame in my love for ms. anderson and her kindred....none...lol.
her stories have giggling and always on the end of my seat for the what every happens to the brides to make the kindred's behave and get with the goddess's plans.

Another exciting book in the collection of Kindred bride series. Nox, the green Kindred is discovering his feelings while Seline is a happy heroine who temps him to feel. The change of scenery & whole new outlook of circumstances is very refreshing.

Wow! The adventure that Nox and Selene experience in this book will take the Kindred warrior into a whole different mindset. Emotions whether good or bad are experienced for the first time by His and he is not sure he likes it. I truly enjoyed this twist.

Dominante man and submissive woman is a favorite read for me. The Ghost box bit was interesting because torture but also super naughty vibes. Glad the club scene acknowledged the consent agreement between visitors and the man who broke them was banned for life.

A green kindred!
Loved the idea of a green man. The idea of switching everything from male to female and vice versa was interesting. I love all the details and the bird thing that was helping them. I definitely recommend this series.
