Not that impressed. For books that have the word “bred” in the title, I expect more time to be spent on hot sex. This was meh for me.

Gabby (virgin, mechanic) is the typical girl that needs saving. Roman (ex-convict, billionaire) is 30-years older and obsessed with her. They eventually hook up and he wants to put babies in her. The End.

There’s just too much time spent on things I don’t care about. I did like the age gap. Wasn’t thrilled with the sex.

Gabby (h21) works as a mechanic in the garage she co-owns with her brother, Andy, though his rough lifestyle means that all the work falls to her. Roman (H51) is drawn to curvy Gabby but assumes she wouldn’t be interested in him until he finds she’s been sneaking into his home when he’s not there and he realizes that’s exactly where he wants her to be. Roman will do what he has to to protect Gabby and make her his. Loved how supportive Roman was of Gabby’s career, stepping in and helping but not taking over. Sweet mountain man age gap romantic quickie with plenty of heat and a side of family drama.

In Courage County they grow some hot mountain men! In this installment, it is Gabby and Roman’s turn. Gabby and her brother own the auto garage there. Andy is rarely there with her as he tends to use all of the money up for gambling and carousing. Andy is 12 years older than Gabby and when their parents died when Gabby was 8, he raised her. They live in a little trailer on the edge of town, but she is afraid that the lock on the door to her bedroom, won’t be able to stop the men that try the knob one day while they are drunk. She sometimes stays at hostels to feel safer.

Although she has heard that Roman has done hard time he is gruff and impatient but brings his trunk in all of the time for Gabby to work on, so she knows he is lonely. He leaves the car and the keys with her whenever he goes out of town for his construction business. So she uses those keys and stays in his house to be safe. He knows this but she isn’t sure that he knows. Lol.

Roman has pet fish and a cat, so she feeds them when she stays over. Roman’s friends- Hale and Blade have told Roman that Gabby has been staying in hostels and he is worried about her. Although Roman is around 15 years her senior, he is very attracted to her and she to him. It is adorable how they feel about each other and don’t know how the other feels. I love how he comes home early and talks to her. I love seeing how the town cares about each other. Andy deserves what he gets. I can’t believe him and how he feels about his sister. I can’t wait for the next book which is about Hale. That looks like it is going to be just as awesome as this one.

Bred by her Mountain Man is a short and super-steamy, instalove, age-gap, OTT, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Gabby is a young curvy mechanic. Roman is an older, grumpy, hunky millionaire mountain man. When Roman first sees Gabby in her auto body shop, he knows she is meant to be his. Gabby has also been crushing on him. She stays at his place when he is away on business and likes to take care of him unofficially. She owns the body shop with her dead beat brother, and Roman just wants to protect her and love her. He has been somewhat secretly watching her and protecting her for the last 6 months. When he comes home early one night and finds her in his cabin, he realizes he is never letting her go. He wants to fill her with his babies and have a family. I just loved this story!! Roman and Gabby sizzled, and we got an amazing HEA. I loved how they both took such tender care of each other and that they were basically soulmates completing each other. They both came from broken families and became this super team together. They were so perfect for each other. I can't wait to read Hale's story next!.

I like Mia Brody stories and 'Bred by the Mountain Man' did not disappoint. It is about a young woman that shares a mechanic shop in town with her brother. Only she seems to be doing most of the work while her brother gambles most of their money away. He has not treated her well since their parents died either. She has a crush on a big mountain man that comes into her shop for repairs on his old truck. Little does she know he only bought that old truck as an excuse to come into her shop to see her. With her home life not being safe for her, she has been using his keys to come stay at his cabin every time he has to go out of town. She also cooks and leaves him meals and cleans his house. He knows this and finally he cuts a business trip short so that he can walk into his home and surprise her while she is there. He has decided to finally let her know that he wants her to always stay there...with him. It is a sweet story about two people who need each other to fulfill their lives as only they can do it.

Gabby does not have an easy life. Her parents died 12 years ago and her brother raised her more or less, now he means trouble and often leaves her alone in the auto shop, where she works as a mechanic. She has had a crush on Roman for a long time. He is a little older and also has a past, but now he is a made man. Gabby does not care about his money, just how he makes her feel and that she feels save with him. More or less trespassing his cabin when he is out of town, because she is afraid of her brother’s friends seeking her out. Roman knew Gabby was his as soon as he saw her. Finally they admit that they want a future with each other, but will her brother let her go and will their dreams come true?
Roman is a growly mountain man with a heart of gold. He thinks badly about himself, but is so caring with Gabby. She is a strong woman, caring about others and fighting for her dreams. They are so good together. Of course also scorching hot. The care and commitment is really touching.

I loved this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Roman and Gabby. Both were pining for each other and watching each other but never said anything. Until the day Roman decides to step in. And I loved it. He's definitely a man of fewer words, but he has some beautiful swoony lines.

Another instalment of Courage County Curves. Roman is an OTT protective guy who wants Gabby but doesn’t want to scare her away with his past and his size. Instead he tampers with his truck so he has to take it to Gabby’s garage to be fixed so then he can see her. Gabby has been living with her brother since their parents died and he looked after her. Now he’s into some shady business and expecting Gabby to do all the work at the garage they own together. Gabby has been sneaking into Roman’s home when he’s away to have a safe place to stay. He knows she’s been staying there but doesn’t know the circumstances of why. This was a story with a lot of emotion. From how Roman grew up and his stint in prison to how Gabby has survived since her parents died. Roman vows to protect and take care of Gabby and Gabby provides the love and family he desperately wants and needs. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Abby loves Roman. She loves everything he doesn’t like about himself. He’s always coming in with his old beater truck to get fixed. And when he goes away for work she sneaks into his house to stay. Her home life isn’t exactly the safest. She leaves his house freshly cleaned & just as he left it. She doesn’t realize that Roman knows she stays there. He just doesn’t know why. And he loves that she feels safe enough to stay at his home. He’d love to have her make his house a home. When he finds out why she stays at his house he’s determined to keep her there. When he comes home early and finds her there she’s made his plan easier to execute. What lengths will he go through to keep her? Will he confess his love for her? Will she finally confess her love for him? Will she let him in on why she stays at his house while he’s gone? Will she let him take care of it? Trust him?.

I am loving this series and Roman and Gabby's story did not disappoint. Gabby runs the local mechanic shop with her brother who seems to enjoy spending all their money gambling rather than making it and keeping his families legacy alive. Roman is the gruff mountain man who has had his eyes on Gabby for months. He brings his truck in every other day to get worked on just so he can keep an eye on Gabby and be close to her. He also leaves her with his keys frequently when he goes out of town knowing she will stay at his house.

Roman is finally ready to make Gabby his. Their love is fast and full so steam, just the way I like it. Roman already waited 6 months and he isn't gonna wait any longer. He wants Gabby to his wife, to have a family and build a life with her. The kitchen / Breakfast scene almost melted my Kindle and I can't wait for more stories from Courage County!!

Roman has been obsessed with Gabby since the day he saw when he drove by her garage. To get close to his girl, he sells his new truck for a clunker that requires him to take in for service often. He is older than her and has a past he is not proud of but he wants her to be his.

Gabby has never had anyone in her corner since her parents died. Her brother should have taken care of her but just gambles away the money their parents left. She stays at Roman's when he is out of town, the trailer her brother bought is not somewhere she wants to be.

When he comes back early from a trip, and she is still at his cabin, he knows there is no going back, he is claiming his girl. Roman may have served time in prison but he treats Gabby like should have been.

Gabby's brother had gambled everything away, and hardly ever came into work leaving her to take care of the lions share at the mechanic shop. She no longer felt safe staying at home so she usually tried to find somewhere else to stay at night. She thought she hit the jackpot when Rowan came by leaving his truck to be worked on again as he was going out of town for several days. She would go stay at his cabin while he was gone, but this time he changed his plans coming home early just to take care of her. Insta-love the moment they set eyes on each other six months previously. It just took them some time to come to terms. An old fashioned love story of older man, younger woman with the man being very protective of his woman and taking care of her.

This one was adorable. Gabby and Roman have been dancing around each other and pining for six long months. She thinks she’s too young and doesn’t have enough feminine wiles to attract his interest. He thinks he’s too old and gnarled for an innocent woman like her. Instead he constantly breaks his truck so she can fix it and he gets the opportunity to talk to her. In the meantime she’s using his keys to clean his house and leave him home cooked meals and treats. She wants so desperately to be a part of his life and he wants so desperately to take care of her. It’s so sweet. When they finally do get together it’s all passion and fireworks… making up for lost time, and making babies.

I thought the author could have gone way further down the breeding kink rabbit hole with these two, but she kept the book pretty vanilla.

Wow! I absolutely loved this story. Roman has been in love with Gabby from the second he saw her 6 months earlier. She is 30 years his junior so he keeps his distance but keeps her safe from afar. He finds an excuse to visit her garage with his truck every week. Gabby has a difficult life, he parents died and she was brought up by her brother who is into gambling and has shady friends. She is in love with Roman and uses his home as a safe place when he is away. When Roman understands the danger she is in he knows it’s time to take charge and claim his girl. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, a loving, caring, protective hero and a wonderful HEA.

This book is just ok. Gabby is a young female auto mechanic working in the shop left to her and her older brother by their parents, who died in a car crash. Gabby’s brother Adam spends most of his time gambling off his portion of the money they earn. Much older Roman has spent time in jail for armed robbery. Despite the age difference, the two are deeply attracted to each other, and within six months of moving to the area, Roman asks Gabby to marry him even though there hasn’t been much of a courtship. The story has some spice, but the characters need further development. There’s also not much conflict, so it’s not as interesting to me as some of the romances I’ve read lately. The book is a quick read though. I think 3 stars is a generous rating.

This is the story of Gabby and Roman, a young girl who operates an auto garage and an older guy who seems to have a perpetually broken truck. And a very soft spot for Gabby, so much so that he doesn’t mind her “secretly” staying in his place when he goes on business trips. Until one day, he comes home early and sparks fly and love is in the air… Although some elements of the story might sound a bit icky - he is more than twice her age, possessive and with a dark past; she is very young, inexperienced and almost homeless, and the progression from hello to steamy times to “let’s get married” is superfast, it is actually a very sweet book about two lonely souls who connect and fall in love. If you like the Courage County universe of Ms Brody, it is a must read. The books are standalones, although the next book’s hero usually gets introduced in some way. These are fun modern fairytales with quirky but strong characters and loooots of steamy love!.

This book definitely brings the sizzle and steam! Big, bad and built Roman is obsessed with the curvy, sweet and innocent mechanic, Gabby. He will do anything to keep her safe. When he learns she is afraid to spend nights at home, he can’t wait any longer to stake his claim and make Gabby his. He wants it all with her, marriage, kids and a happily ever after. Good thing she wants that too. Gabby may be young and rather untouched, but she is also wise beyond her years. She knows what she wants…..Roman and any babies he will give her.

This is the 6th book in the series.

Gabby runs the town mechanics shop, she is attracted to Roman but never let her feelings known. Roman traded in his fancy truck to buy a run down truck just to have a reason to see Gabby on a regular basis. She ends up staying at his cabin when he is away as living with her brother is dangerous with the friends he keeps. Roman returns early from a work trip and finds Gabby there. He makes her stay through a storm and soon they end up giving into their feelings. Finally they both get what they have wanted.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

This was a super quick read for me. Roman was older, Gabby younger. She was dealing with trying to keep her family auto shop open while her brother did his best to avoid work and run card games. This put her in a bad position with the people coming to her home. Roman bringing his truck to her was helpful because she would stay at his house to be safe. I loved how sassy Gabby was. She was much younger than him but the way these two were meant to be together, you couldn't tell. Roman finally being willing to take control was the best decision. Great quick read, enjoyable storyline.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I really enjoyed Roman and Gabby's love story. These two have danced around their attraction and feelings for a while. She's a sweet, loyal and hard working young woman with a lot on her shoulders. Roman has the means to relieve her burden and make her happy at the same time. He just needs to get past all the excuses in his head about why he can't be with Gabby. I liked both of these characters. The storyline was well written with the family drama, secrets, friendship, longing and passion. I'm looking forward to Hale's story next

This is book 6 of Courage Country Curves. The story is about Gabby and Roman. Gabby is busting her butt at her shop while her brother losses money to gambling or whatever he is doing. Roman comes over and over again to the shop to get his car serviced. He is obsessed with her and wants her for his own. After he sees her taking care of him, he knows that she is it and will do anything to keep her. A great story and love the series.

Roman is super gruff but has a serious soft spot for Gabby. Both have been through so much in life, especially with the very people who are supposed to care for them most. They’ve been doing this dance of low-key taking care of each other. After months of denying them both what they need, Roman decides he’s done with waiting for all the pieces to fall into place and is out to claim his woman. And oh man, it’s dirty sweet and so satisfying.

On one trip, Roman had a gut feeling and cut his business trip short and came home to find Gabby and his cabin. Fate brought about a thunderstorm, so they are trapped in Roman’s cabin together. All he wants to do is protect her and make her his. All she wants to do is get away from her brother and be with Roman. Can they be together? What will her brother say?

I do not know age of either characted, but the MMC says that he is 30 years older than FMC. He has served time for murder, but also said it wasn't him who did it but an accomplice in a bank robbery.

I have no idea of the sexual history of MMC, but FMC is a virgin, and the MMC might have been said to be her first kiss but I'm not certain. No OW or OM drama.

I loved Bred by the Mountain Man Book 6 of Courage County Curves. Gabby can’t keep living the way she is, something bad is going to happen. Roman wants Gabby but something holds him back until he can’t any longer and it’s time to keep her safe. Gabby doesn’t want to be saved she just wants to be loved and Roman can do that and more. This was such a sweet story. Older man and younger woman but they live HEA. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

This was a fun and steamy grumpy/sunshine romance. Roman, our grumpy guy, has a checkered past but he's a successful business man now with a crash on local mechanic, Gabby. She's been crushing on him, too, but has taken it a bit further than you'd expect when she sleeps at his home, in his bed, when he's out of town ;P He's more than ready to ask her what that's all about as he goes into detail on how he wants to be her man in every way. These two were fun to follow to an HEA with enough steam to burn up my reader ;D

I have been looking forward to Roman's story for a while, and this did not disappoint. He has been there for all of his friends throughout their stories and I'm so glad he found someone that knows all sides of him, and loves them all. He comes across as so gruff, but he's a total softy with Gabby. Can't wait for Hale's story.
