Aww I really enjoyed this!! It was soo good!! It gave Cinderella meets Christian Grey, without the BDSM. It was a really fun, easy and enjoyable read. I think this is my first read of this authors and it absolutely won’t be the last!!!

Ladies and gents, Lindsey effing Powell does 👏 it👏again!!! She absolutely never disappoints and certainly wasn’t about to start with Room Service.
I have the inside scoop, y’all. This book was supposed to be her shortest and ended up her longest. Dorien and Elise needed to tell their story on their terms and every single word is worth it!
The twists just keep on coming when it comes to their journey- some of which, you definitely will not see coming.
I absolutely adore Elise and how much she comes into herself as a person. When we first meet her, she is so unsure of who she is and what her purpose in life is supposed to be. One night of letting her hair down, so to speak, is bound to change everything. And it does. But will it really be one night?

One of the most spiciest and heart-gripping novel that I have ever read. If I could find myself a Dorien Dukes, then a Nate Knowels and then a Jax as well? You bet I'm moving mountains to get to them.
Brooooo, this book had everything that any person could ever dream for. Elise, a powerful, beautiful young woman, with a passion of fashion coursing through her blood, is being used by her parents and her good for nothing old sac looking like husband. She drops her desire for career and a good job to mopping floors and cleaning rooms in one of the most expensive hotels called, "The Blue Diamon Hotel." There she stumbles upon this *ehm ehm* handsome guy who is dripping sexiness out of every part of skin he has on his body. She immediately loses her breathing and her beating heart to him when all he has is one thing in his mind.
Her.
The man who has always been stone-cold and never looks back at anyone finds himself helplessly falling for Elise. What is supposed to be a one-night stand of passionate, raw, toe curling sex, turns into love and obsession. Dorien takes over the whole hotel chain and thus, Dorien and Elise's steamy hot romance starts, them fueling it up further in his personal penthouse where she starts living with him.
Dorien goes to no ends to making sure she is happy and secure, even if he needs to contact some *ehm ehm* hot people, and *ehm ehm* commit sins for some people. I mean, people, go read the damn book if you are willing to have not one character, not two but the whole book in your heart. And obviously, who am I kidding, the mother had to be Karen, AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Plus, hats off to Celeste for being the biggest supporter after Dorien.

What a book! I loved Dorien 😍 It was spicy as hell as well 🔥🥵🫠
Elise certainly got put through the ringer in this book but she definitely came out the other end with Dorien's help. She went on a massive journey of self discovery, uncovered a shocking secret but she never gave up and carried on going. I loved being along for the ride with these two ❤️ I struggled putting this book down, it had me hooked from the beginning. There was angst, drama, plenty of LOL moments, A LOT of dirty talking 🔥 and plenty of spice 🥵 We also saw some familiar faces in this book 😉

The chemistry between main character is never lacking in Lindsey books. Dorien Duke is so hot. I was absolutely hooked and couldn't put this down. Elise deserves the world after being married to a man she didn't love thanks to her parents. The spice was spicing. I couldn't fault it. I loved every minute of this book. Dorian is a millionaire who wanted to have just s*x the moment he saw Eilse. Elise was a maid at the hotel where Dorien was staying in. But after one night Dorien couldn't get enough and wanted to keep her. Dorien is so sexy, my new book boyfriend. The way he claimed her was sweet.

This book was so freaking good!!
Dorien and Elise were amazing! I didn’t want this book to end. My heart broke so many times for Elise. She deserved so much better than what she was getting at the start of this book and I was cheering her on so much as she became stronger and stronger throughout this story.
What a man Dorien is! He had similar background as Elise and my heart broke for him too. It truly made him into the absolute powerhouse he was and I loved every minute of it.
The spicy scenes in this book were so hot and my god did that man know exactly what to say at the right time 🔥🔥🔥
Highly recommend this book, another favourite from an amazing author.

This story had a bit of everything thrown in along with a cameo from my first love Nate, (that man! *fans self) although Dorian could come a close second.
Dorian was all brooding alpha before Elise, never spending more than one night with a woman. He was the usual effboy, a one and done man but all that changed in a chance encounter.
Elise has had it rough. She’s never known what it’s like to be openly loved with no hidden agendas. She was literally pawned off and treated like an object.
I couldn’t help but not feel for her and was constantly cheering her on to find her happiness.
I really liked the concept that even though she knew she loved Dorian wholeheartedly and he reciprocated those feelings, she still took a step away to work on herself.
That showed how strong she was, through everything thrown her way she never stopped fighting.
Dorian constantly gave Elise what she needed, her needs always at the forefront of his choices and in return Elise saved him from the darkness he lived in.
They were perfect for each other.
There is plenty of spice and steam, all the fun stuff as well as drama.

Elise is a hard working maid at a hotel ,supporting a dead beat husband who her parents essentially forced her to marry. There is no love from either her parents or her husband. She is saving for a way to break free from it all.
She enters a room that is supposed to be vacant however as she is stripping the bed and eyeballing condom wrappers Dorien emerges in a towel. They make eye contact and Elsie is super flustered. He is a handsome man and really looks at Elsie she isn’t used to at all.
Dorien wants Elsie and on their next encounter he prepositions her for a one night no strings attached.
Elsie is married and declines however once she is home and catches her husband “pleasing” himself she cuts ties and goes back the Hotel to see if the offer Dorien suggested is still available ….
That story has spice , passion and a twist you don’t see coming.

Another great read by Lindsey Powell. You have Elise who is doing everything she can to gain her parents approval even married the man they wanted her to. As she realizes it’s time for a change, determined and committed to make that change she runs into Dorien🫣 A man with a heart of stone who immerses himself in his work. They have caught each other’s attention. While she is beginning to melt his icy exterior he is igniting the fire inside her🥵 This was well written with characters that grab your attention and bring you on an emotional journey as their story unfolds. I definitely recommend this one.

If you want a roller coaster of emotions, all the flutters and all the feels you know where to go. Lindsey i always end up finding a new book boyfriend in your books and Dorien is definitely top tier!!
Elise is strong and just needed someone to treat her like the woman she is, and teach her a lesson or two in the bedroom.. or against a balcony railing.

I loved this book, it took me on every emotion know.
It was heartwarming, heartbreaking and spicy 🥵 🔥 the chemistry between these two was off the charts.

Room service! Where do I beginning it was written so smoothly and I felt every word! I couldn't put it down and read and finish this book faster then I have ever read any book that is how good this book was! To see how Elise grew from being married and feeling trap and unconfidence to growing into a strong confidence women who struggled to understand her feeling for dorien at first but instantly know her heart is his! For dorien who is a man who shut himself off years ago to watching him slowly open his heart to Elise and doing anything to protect her! Omg my heart is a mush and I want to read it over again! This book was 100 amazing and right from the start powerful and watching these two characters grow was amazing! I definitely 100% recommend it and hope you guys enjoy it just as much as I do and I will definitely be getting my copy as soon as it released!

I absolutely devoured this book. Take one young woman realizing she deserves better, ready to claw her way back to herself, and add in a gorgeous playboy hotelier and you get a smoking hot, angsty ride! Dorien and Elise were absolute fire, and I was here for it. While their story had the expected elements - crappy (soon-to-be) ex-husband, even crappier family (Elise’s), and a possessive alpha male realizing he’s capable of being with just one woman - it also had so, so much more. There were twists with the ex, the family, with Elise’s path, and so much more. I enjoyed every minute of this delightfully entertaining read.

Absolutely devoured Dorian and Elise. Their chemistry was off the charts! Love that Elise fought her attraction as hard as she could. Love how Dorian proved to her she deserved better! And OMG all those skeletons just spilled out and wow did Elise deserve so much more than her family gave her.

This book is incredible !!
I was completely captivated from the very start....as we follow Elise and Dorien into a hot,obsessive and passionate love affair.
I felt so bad for Elise because she has been forced into living a life she does not want,and guilted into an arranged marriage with an older man.Derrick was meant to love and take care of her except he did the opposite and he is just a lazy slob.
Elsie has to give up her dreams to work as a maid just to make ends meet,but she is secretly planning to leave her husband and saves every penny she can so she can escape the misery that is her life.
Dorien Dukes is WOW!!!!...Powerful,demanding a total Alpha and sex on legs...he Oozes desire,charm and is every girls dream.
When he first encounters Elise as she cleans his room at the hotel he WANTS her an Dorien always gets what he wants.
Elise presumes Dorien is just another guest,so when they have a night of unbridled passion and the best sex Elsie has ever had.She has no idea that the man who just blew her mind will soon become her new Boss !!!!

Dorien evolves too and Elise shows him what it is like to love and care for someone,because he was never shown how...she melts his frozen heart...makes him more human.
These two together are an explosion of Lust,want,need,sensuality and a craving for one another that leads to very HOT and Steamy scenes.
Lindsey Powell has out done herself with this story and it is a book that is definately a page turner,as you are anticipating what will happen next.
Your emotions will be in a tailspin,as there is a deeper story to Elsie and Dorien's romance along side the sexual discovery and journey they take together...they unravel one anothers pain.
I thoroughly enjoyed and devoured this book,and would definately recommend to anyone who loves their dominant Alpha's...you will find it within Dorien Dukes.

Dorien appears to have it all. He is on top of the hotel world, but when he stumbles upon a beautiful maid cleaning up after him his world is rocked on the axis. Elise is a beautiful woman, but she is stuck in place with a husband that wants nothing to do with her and parents that make her feel less than she should. When all you want in life is to be seen as worthy and no one is there to make that happen. Elsie made the decision it was time to leave her husband. Tired of supporting him while he sat at home. She has one night with Dorien and it leaves them both wanting more is it worth the risk to find true happiness? As they spend time together Dorien learns so much about Elise, but at the same time Elsie is learning more about who she is and who she wants to be. These two find out that the life that they had was missing something and that missing piece was right there in front of them in the other.
I think the most important thing in this book is the fact that we get to witness a person that has been knocked down by life and not having any idea what that is until the rug is taken out from under her. She picks herself up and make the decision that since no one is saving her she needs to. Elise ends up being her own cheerleader. Yes, she has help, but she starts to find her self-esteem and respect and with the help of friends she is able to start making her dreams come true. I love it when we get stories like this. Having read Ms.Powell's work a couple of times before i've been meaning to get into more of her books. As soon as i saw a teaser for this one on social media i knew i had to read it! I picked it up as soon as i could and got right into this story. I so enjoyed it!
Elise and Dorien's journey pulled me in right from the very get go! Elise is a hard working maid on a path in life she didn't choose. Dorien is a businessman looking to acquire another hotel. As Elise and Dorien collide in room twenty-nine their worlds won't be the same. Little did Elise know that Dorien would be her new boss. Will they give into their desires and then go their separate ways? Or can more lead to everything for them?
I really liked the memorable way that Elise and Dorien were brought into each other's lives. I felt for Elise and hated what she went through. She's such a relatable character that had strength and realness. Dorien was a mystery i wanted to unravel and oh did he ever make me blush. I adored how determined he was when it came to Elise. The chemistry Elise and Dorien shared was all kinds of heat filled!
I loved seeing Elise tackle things in her life and discovering herself. Dorien had me falling for him and how he was all about Elise. I so enjoyed getting to see these two bring out different sides to one another and getting to dig deeper with them along the way. I adored the age-gap and boss/employee aspects of it all. Both Dorien and Elise had me feeling so many emotions as well!
With Room Services, Ms.Powell has created such a good and steamy read that brought the feels and the reminder to go after what you want in life! I am so looking forward to reading what she comes up with next!

This was my first time ever reading a book by Lindsey Powell and oh my goodness it was fantastic and spicy. A wonderful storyline filled with some crazy action, drama, heartbreaking moments, and sooo many spicy scenes.
From their first encounter the chemistry between Elise and Dorien were *chefs kiss.* Dorien stumbles upon Elise when she was a maid, who was working at his hotel - he never told her that he was her boss. Elise drops her education and goals of becoming a fashion designer when she was forced into marrying a man, who she didn’t love and having to deal with her crazy family. Elise starts to loose herself, feeling miserable, and hopeless being in a relationship where she feels worthless. After many traumatic experiences with her family and husband, she realizes that is enough and advocates for herself by cutting ties with toxic people in her life. With Dorien’s support and love, Elise begins to re-discover herself. She gains a sense of self-worth, feels loved, respected, and becomes more confident instead of the shy girl who was scared to stand up for herself. When Elise began to find herself again, I just wanted to be her cheerleader, cheering her on! She made some amazing friendships along the way, she went back to school, and never gave up on chasing after her goals of becoming a fashion designer. Dorien was the best guy - he was there every step of the way to support and help Elise overcome her past.
Reading this book, was such an emotional rollercoaster. If you enjoy drama, workplace relationship, vengeance, age gap, and a lot of spice and dirty talk - check out this book!

The beginning of this book starts off as Elise realizing she is stuck in a crappy loveless marriage and finding out it’s all because of her selfish parents. She gets the balls to leave her crappy narcissistic husband, into the bed of to me was another narcissist man. I mean he basically tells her she can keep her job as long as she keeps boinking him & making him happy. However, Dorien then becomes Elise knight in shinning armor. It then trickles into Her ex being a real piece of work, and shows up at her job with her mother to demand she go back to their house because “you’re my wife”. Poor Elise just really can’t catch a break from this man and her terrible parents. This book was really well written and did have me wanting to keep reading and not take breaks. The story could have had a little smidge more of drama to really complete it.

Reviews are all about honesty right? By chapter 7 I was frustrated with the picture that was painted of Dorien and debated on not finishing but am I glad I kept reading. By the end of the book, I wanted my own Dorien. The way that man treated Elise made me smile. My heart hurt for Elise and the things she went through but not once did she let it take her down. These two were meant for each other. Elise is exactly what Dorien needed. Dorien was the force Elise needed. This book was just so much after I got past those 7 chapters. I loved having the side characters show up from other books. Again Im glad I finished the book. Also, there is absolutely no cheating in this book.

I genuinely loved this! I started reading it on the 1st May as it was a day off and even when my partner got home my kindle was still in my hand.
Elise was an amazing character to be in this book. I just adored how she had an unfortunate home life but there was a light at the end of the tunnel with her Dorien.
And she was able to get her dream job in the end.
This is a book you do not want to miss out on reading.

This story broke me and put me back together all at once, Lindsey has done incredible with this book, Elise is such a beautiful heroine, I saw some of myself in the way her life was described, and that is part of the reason I loved it all the more, the tenacity, spark and fight she had was so admirable. Dorian, ugh the dreamy man, we know we all wished we had haha he may creep up in to my top spot for book boyfriends 😉 also a cameo feature from a certain bad boy! I definitely didn't want this story to end. I cannot wait to see what's next from Lindsey and it's an honour to read her words.
