A super villain at the top of his game must choose between the world he wants and the woman he loves.
If you believe the rumors you know that Doctor Charm, the wickedly sexy super villain, retired in shame seven years ago after his last fight with the super hero Zephyr Girl. Sweet funny romance about a supervillain who married a superhero h. He loves her more than the world and gave up his villainy for her - until a need for it comes up again!
H is charming, sophisticated, wily, but he's just gone for the h. He was also an amazing Dad and the little girls, the quads were just amazing!!
Especially loved the revelation in the end:)
Recommended for those that love villain H's ,who fall crazy in love for their woman!!

"What is the difference between a villain and a hero?
Although a bit predictable Even Villains Fall in Love was a cute read. Between the antics of Evan and Tabitha's hilarious daughters and the absolute bone melting love that the supposed 'super villain' shows for his wife I couldn't get enough.
It's the perfect feel-good read. You'll laugh, cry and, amazingly enough, root for a happily ever after for a super villain!

"Have you thought about where to go?"
"I was going to start here." He moved on hand inward of her hip. "Then work my way down--"
She swatted his hand away. "I meant a job, Evan."
He frowned. "You went to work today, sweetie, what else is there?"

I knew from the opening line that I was going to like this book! It’s a fast-paced, good-humoured delight from beginning to end. This is a fantasy romance with super villains and super heroes/heroines.
Dr. Charm is a super villain who must make the most difficult choice – world domination or the woman he loves AKA super heroine Zephyr Girl. Being a married duo isn’t easy, especially when your wife decides to go back to work and you have 4 little blessings, all of whom are showing signs of superpowers themselves!
But not all superheroes are what they appear to be. There is a traitor in the ranks and Zehyr Girl becomes embroiled in a nasty plan that could tear her family apart. But Dr. Charm, despite his retirement from super-villainous activities, seems to be the only one who can save the world this time. Will he succeed but lose the only woman he’s ever loved?
This is a light –hearted, easy read. It is fun and sexy without being graphic. Not my usual read but very enjoyable nonetheless.

This book was a fast-paced, hilarious delight from beginning to end! Only problem I had with it was that it ended too soon. Fortunately, the author says she plans more in the series, which I cannot wait to read. Telling things from the "bad guy's" perspective is definitely unique. It was also nice to see a love story between husband and wife that's just as hot as anything in romance or YA.
If you're a fan of fantasy, sci-fi, superheroes, comic books, and laughing, read this book.

Funny, witty and romantic! I've never come across a plot like this! This is sort of in the superhero fan fiction area! Something I would have killed to have had a chance to read when I was a geeky teen. Okay, so we have The Avengers and all the superheroes involved ( Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and so on... ) , and then we have Super Villains and let's not kid our selves we have the occasional wet dream of the bad guy going good just for us - cue in Even Villains Fall In Love!
Evan is such a yummy deliciously still little bit evil villain, Doctor Charm ( got to love all the hero/villain names in this book! ), named after his multiple charms, awestruck good looks, killer smile, high IQ, that Dior suit and a weird array of multicolored minions. Having a guy like Evan fall for you head over heals sure makes for yummy read! I absolutely loved how the book was only in Evan's point of view, each chapter starting with a rather lusty/romantic memory of Zephyr Girl. Though I feel I need to point out there is no sex in this book ( what?!? Yeah I know, right! ).
The romance was built on Evan's idea of him not deserving her so he created a machine to make her love him, so we begin seven years later and the machine breaks creating all kinds of chaos - and in the middle of that chaos is Evan coming to grasps with possibly loosing his gorgeous wife, who's behavior changed drastically and raising their five year old quads alone. Of course romance need a happy ending, and love prevails again even for a criminal mastermind. ;)

It's a fun and quick read but I think it would have worked better as a longer book. The relationships and characters felt kind of superficial and having more pages probably would brought more "depth" to their personalities and the chemistry between the couple.
Overall, I enjoyed this fun twist on the marriage in peril trope and definitely wouldn't mind reading more villain/superhero romances!

The Good:
I LOVED this book! I've been waiting on it since I read the blurb back in January, and it didn't disappoint. The premise of a supervillain marrying the superhero really intrigued me, even if his methods for maintaining his perfect marriage seems morally questionable. What else would you really expect from the villain? So, the idea was novel and the blurb compelling. The story is very well written. Each chapter starts with a little snippet of internal though by the main character, each of which gives you a bit more insight into his mind and helps you empathize with him. Normally that kind of break up in a story can irritate me by pulling me out, but not in this case. The romance is sweet and sexy without the need for graphic bedroom scenes. The classical elements of the villain are all here - minions, dastardly plans and diabolical machines - but at the centre of it is a man who loves his wife and family enough to give up the world for them. There were great touches of humour too, as much as lines to tug on your heartstrings.
The Bad:
A sudden shift in location and identities left me a little confused in the middle of the book and it took me a few pages to get back up to speed. However, I felt this was probably in keeping with Evan's own confusion over the turmoil that had taken over his life.
In Sum:
It made me laugh, it made me cry, and I defy anyone not to go 'awww' by the end of the book. You'll be in no doubt about who is the real villain of the piece. Thoroughly enjoyable and a new twist on the old 'good vs. evil' in the greatest comic book tradition - but all grown up.
Buy this book. There is no alternative. :)

This book is excellent. It's not just because of the surface flashy stuff (superheroes and super villains, adorable kids, minions, excellent humour, and cool tech) but also because of a poignant theme that almost made me cry when I came to the last page. If I had only five words to sum it up, I'd say: Fun and very, very beautiful.

Really enjoyed reading this one - it was funny, cute & sweet without being sappy and different from anything I've read this year. I loved Herk (the minion) and the girl quads as the fighting team. Light and fun 4.5 stars. If I re-read, I will rate a 5 star.

I picked this up because I'm a fan of the Minions in Despicable Me. The humor in this book is immediate, the writing is fluid. Dr. Charm might not be the most terrifying super villain ever imagined, but he's certainly one of the funnier ones. The way he goes back and forth between loving father and plotting to take over the world had me laughing. The children's involvement made for a plausible (well, given that the book already contains flying superheroes and agree-with-me rays) ending, and the antagonist definitely gets what they have coming to them.
My complaints: Not enough minions. I think the next book shouldn't focus on people in pajamas at all. Instead it should focus on the true heroes, the every day heroes. The minions. Oh, sure, Zephyr Girl might be handy if an asteroid is heading toward earth, but minions mow the lawn.
Number of times I've needed my lawn mowed: Lots.
Number of times I've needed a super hero to rescue Earth from an asteroid: None.
Advantage: Minions.
If the next book is "Every Minion needs a Master" or "The Minion's Guide to Everything" I'd give that five stars. The romance level in the book is sweet, but not coma inducing. Diabetics of all types can read it without fear, as it isn't sickeningly sweet. Not recommended for people who have had surgery recently, as laughing of any sort could be painful, and if you pull out a stitch, that wouldn't be good. On the other hand, laughter is the best medicine. You can debate it with the doctor while he stitches you back up.
Not having surgery? Go ahead and read it. Yeah, it would be better with more minion. You could say that about almost anything.

I HAVE A CRUSH ON DOCTOR CHARM!!
At first I wasn't sure what to make of a superhero romance, but within the first few sentences, I was hooked!
I am sorry to say that I am not immune to Doctor Charm's... uh... charm. In fact the entire story was completely charming! If the premise of a superhero falling for a supervillain isn't enough to intrigue you, throw in four absolutely adorable little girls, a smattering of genetically engineered minions, and then blur the line between good guys and bad guys and you have the start of EVEN VILLAINS FALL IN LOVE.
I found myself rooting for Evan and his quest to repair his marriage and win back his superhero wife Tabitha (Zephyr Girl.)It's not your ordinary romance by any stretch. It's MUCH better.
If you haven't read this one yet, you owe it to yourself to do so IMMEDIATELY!!! (As I turn up my Agree-With-Me Ray.)

The Evil Super Villain Doctor Charm settled down with his arch-rival Zephyr and had a family - four darling little girls - and has 'given' up his evil ways (mostly) and is living his happily ever after until the unthinkable happens. Now Doctor Charm is going to have to put his secret plans for world - actually national - domination on hold and dust off his Dior to win back his wife and save his kids.
This was a very cute story and I liked how Doctor Charm saves the day - with a little help from his minions and spawn. And I especially like the ending. All in all a fun read and yes, super villains need love too.

Awwww this was a sweet, extremely quick and engaging read. It was really fast-paced, and yet was full of emotion that made me linger at certain points. I love the quads. So cute! But wasn't there any other super villain he could have called on for help at the end? Overall a good story and I'd like to read more.

The premise had me interested but it sadly didn't do it justice in my eyes.
I think if it was longer and we'd followed the couple from the beginning instead of small flashbacks it would have made me care.
The kids are adorable and I wouldn't mind a minion or two to do jobs round the house.
The world is intriguing because I love villain's and heroes, especially a villain gone good or as good as a reformed villain can get. Need more books with that theme!
also the whole machine controlling their sex life, bad feelings immediately towards Evan.

Supervillains are the new superheros
How Liana Brooks made me fall in love with a supervillain I am still trying to figure out... But here we are! I became all consumed with the story and had to keep reading til the end. I loved how she fused first person with third person to give the reader a true understanding of Evan. The teaser for book 2 has me going straight to Amazon to download it.

Would have been better if the author took more time to worldbuilding and developing the characters in the book. It felt too short and too rushed. While I really liked the ending, I do think that the pacing can be improved so that the ending would be more satisfactory. Still, I enjoyed reading this book :)

A fun adventure starring a villian, who is married with four daughters. When his world falls apart, he finds out that family and love matters most and re-invents his life and goals to save his marriage.
The little super-villians in the story are totally darling and Doctor Charm does a great job of parenting them through this adventure.

DNF I made it a few chapters in but the book kicked off with homophobic jokes about drag queens (possibly also transphobic) and the "hero" is using mind control to make the heroine constantly horny for him. I don't read books where the hero rapes the heroine.
Plus what appear to be sickly sweet quintuplets.

I was curious about how the premise would play out. Although in one sense cute and fun if you like kids' cartoon movies' sensibilities, I found it too shallow. The super heroine lead was non-existent as a character in her own right and portrayed as manipulated by men. Weird, uneasy mix of dark and cute.

Even Villains Fall in Love was pretty good. I think my favourite parts were the kids assuming their villain identities and Evan's speech to the heroes. I would have liked the final moments (the big reveal) to have been a bit longer.

This was a really sweet romance about a super-villain who is already married to the superhero of his dreams... but when she decides to go back to work and something terrible (in his mind) happens, how does he hold onto her and their family.

I enjoyed the book but in the back of my mind there was always the thought that as far as evan knew he raped his wife from their second meeting onward and was fine with that... That kind of ruined it for me

This was so cute. It's so rare to see a story about a married couple, everybody just assumes they skip happily into their HEA as the sun sets. I really liked this one.

A fast-paced, fun read. Loved the characters, loved the plot. A bit too sexy for me at the start, but loved that it was at least between a married couple. And the twist at the end? Too cute.
