Sienna Mercer grew up in Toronto, Canada. She was an only child, and always wanted a brother or sister – especially a twin. A twin would have been awesome! Sadly, she never got that sister so, when she was grown up, she did the next best thing - she wrote books about a girl who reminded her of herself, and gave her the most fun, fabulous twin she could think of!

Sienna began writing stories when she was a teenager, on a very wet day in Toronto when her cheerleading practice was cancelled - and she has not stopped writing since. She used to write in red leather notebooks while sat on her bed, but now does most of her writing in her attic, which is quite dark, and has some spooky cobwebs in the corners - the perfect location for thinking about vampires. She doesn't use red notebooks anymore, either, although she keeps them in a chest by her desk in the attic.

Sienna got the idea for My Sister the Vampire from a daydream she had - what if she had a super-cool twin sister... who was a vampire? She loved the characters - and their kooky friends and family - so much that she just had to keep writing about them.

When she's not daydreaming about vampires and cheerleading, Sienna enjoys travelling and exploring new cities, and keeps a detailed scrapbook of everywhere she’s visited. She lives in Toronto, kept company by Calypso and Angel – her two gorgeous cats. She is happily writing away and we wait for her upcoming books!

"This is a funny, super-girly story with a vampire bite to it. Sink your teeth into Olivia and Ivy's twelfth fright-time adventure. 'We're on a mission'! Woah. Like, woah. Honestly, let me start by saying that Sienna Mercer is one of the most creative writers and authors of Children's book of all time. Like seriously Miss Mercer, you suck! That mean that she's awesome by the way - I still use the vamp/goth language sometimes. She added more vocabulary words that I never heard of, which is amazing cause I learn a lot new words while reading, and her writing is improving. And again, I love how Ivy and Olivia and almost all the characters are somehow growing up as the series' goes and I super love it that Brendan and Ivy are still together. I hope they stay together forever till they get married and have kids.

You're probably wondering why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars considering the fact that I just praised the author for another great job in her book series'. It just wasn't as awesome as the previous books but still pretty good (I still want to read the next). I was really disappointed and heartbroken when Ivy and Olivia were bickering and gets on each other's nerves. And this is the first time I felt distant to Ivy, it's like I don't know her anymore, like I couldn't relate to her anymore, like she was different from the Ivy we know in the previous books. I don't know what the hell happened to her after she quit Wallachia but I wish she never went there in the first place. Ugh, she was just... I don't even wanna mention it. Her moments with Brendan reminded me of the old her though something is really different about her in this book.

Brendan is still sweet, handsome, awesome Brendan.

Olivia on the other hand was the one I had a connection to. Weird? It was like they switched or something. Yeah, Olivia is still pink-loving bunny but the events that happened to her and how she handled them were kind of similar to what I went through some time in my life. Although Olivia is a lot more naive than I am, I still related to her more than Ivy.

Sophia! OMG. She's back. Although she only had very little parts I felt as if Miss Mercer is starting to mention her more again. And I'm really excited to hear from her character more. Also Camilla's.

Charles Vega is the cutest groom ever and Lilian's personality fits his perfectly. I cant wait for their wedding. Please 13th book, be the wedding book.

The plot of this book rests upon one important person - the blagger (LOL!) blogger (who I wont reveal to you because I have an anti-spoil policy). But from the very first time I knew about the blogger I already knew who it was but what I didnt know why the blogger was doing what she was doing. The ending was the best part of the book

From discovering who the blogger was:

To knowing why the blogger did it:

To knowing what might happen in the next book:

13th book, I cannot wait to get my hands on you.

Even though this is a Children's book I hope you take the time to read the series. It's. Awe. Some.

Happy reading!<

Yet another super cool addition to the My Sister the Vampire series! This book follows Ivy and Olivia on an interesting (yet classic, in a way, in MSTV terms) adventure, but things have changed since Ivy returned from Wallachia, and it takes an unfortunate affect on the twins' friendship...

I loved the realistic way that the twins' relationship showed some tension in this book, and the story was a really fun mystery. It was awesome how all of the side storylines came together in the end to form such a cute ending! Recommended to any fan of the My Sister the Vamp series (obviously).

This book is very interesting! In Franklin grove the two sisters Olivia and Ivy are on a hunt for a blogger. Ivy is a vampire and she plus her family are trying to keep the secret of Franklin grove safe! That secret is that vampires walk down the streets! Can Olivia ans Ivy catch the blogger and protect the population of the vampires? Yes or No?

I really don't get why saying that they just don't like garlic isn't an option ..... some people don't like garlic !

I thought this was another good addition to the series. It was funny and had a good mystery. The twist ending wrapped everything up. However, Ivy shouldn't have assumed that her sister had betrayed the Vampire community just because Olivia wanted to give her new friend the benefit of the doubt. Also, I had assumed from the last book, that Ivy's grandparents weren't upset with Ivy for abandoning Wallachia Academy, and were just happy that Ivy had given the school a try.

I first started reading this series 6 years ago. And even if I've technically grown out of it I still love coming back to it whenever I'm in the mood for a familiar read or a small not so complex story. Sienna Mercer's writing is very fun to read and I would definitely recommend her books to young readers interested on fantasy or adventure.
Stake Out was an interesting read as we are going through some tough times with the sisters. There is a lot of emotional turmoil and it's fun to read about how they make everything right between them. It shows us that no matter what happens family is family and there is nothing we wouldn't do for them.

I've read the whole series, and while I wouldn't say it was amazing, it was funny and very entertaining :) It was a good series and I thought the ending was okay, but When I finished the final book, it didnt leave me sitting there in a state of awe, thinking WOW, or "I wish that wasnt the last one" , like Divergent by Veronica Roth , or Mockingjay did. The characters were relatable and believable , but I didn't get Attached to them like I did characters from other books.
⭐⭐⭐
Id say the age group this should be targeted at is around 9-12

YES I liked the way that it starts out as kinda continueing the last book and reminds it about a part. then it starts with the new book.!!!!
The characters ivy and Olivia are really fun to read about.i like that they get along with each other even when they have problems with eachother.my favorite part is when t the end every one gets along with eachother and everyone solves there problem and really good things happen.I don't like that ivy was acting jelous and she was acting bad!!you should know that, the characters in this book is not acting like themselves!!

It was okay. The book is not as good as the other ones.

I guessed the identity of the blogger right away when I read the back. This book was just too straight forward, with no surprises.

I hope the next one would be better

I remember reading the first 10/11 books about like 2 years or so ago and took them one after the other and I absolutely loved them and it's nice to come back to this world. It's like a fun read that you could fly through and I really enjoyed that.

I love to read, so I'll read anything, but I've read almost the whole series like seven times already. I practically fell in love with the books(probably even more than with boys).
