Dark Hearts #3

Sinful Hearts

Rate this book
My first mistake was sleeping with the most dangerous man in New York, without him knowing who I was.
My second was believing he never would...

It was supposed to be easy: one night of sin with a beautiful stranger to forever cut ties with my Bratva past.
But I didn’t pick a stranger. I picked him.
Hades Drakos, the dark prince of the Drakos Mafia family, is a lethally beautiful psychopath with a trail of broken hearts and bloodshed in his wake.
Oh, and he’s my client.
It doesn’t matter that our one night was under darkness, disguised by masks.
He knows my secret sin.
He knows it was my first time.
And now, he’ll use that to trap me as his own personal Persephone.
But even though the God of the Underworld might have my darkest secrets and sinful submission in the palm of his hand, I swear, there’s one thing he’ll never capture.
My heart.

Sinful Hearts is a standalone dark mafia, blisteringly steamy enemies-to-lovers romance with a smart, untamable heroine, and an ultra possessive hero with “look at her and I’ll unalive you” energy. Readers are advised to read the TW inside. No cliffhanger; HEA included.

A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.

Another awesome entry!

I was so excited to get into Hades story. He and Elsa were absolute fire right from the jump. They had so many sparks flying back and forth. I knew so much was bubbling beneath the surface in previous books, but seeing it all spill out in Sinful Hearts was so much fun.

Just like the previous books I've read by Jagger, this story starts hard right from the beginning and the one night stand at the club shows just how explosive these two will be. Elsa may think she can hide that she was the mystery woman Hades can't stop thinking about, but that could never last for long when he gets on the hunt.

While there were a few situations that I felt got dragged out too long (i.e Elsa's secret) I still enjoyed this book so much. These Dark Romances have a perfect balance of plot, steamy connection, and danger. It keeps me at the edge of my seat.

I am also absolutely ravenous to get my hands on Twisted Hearts. Because I know Gavan has some secrets to share.

4.5 stars
4.5 on the spice scale

CW: manipulative parent, characters in danger, threats to a child, attempted SA, unaliving
Steamy Content: BDSM, biting, throat necklaces, spanking, bondage, back door play and more!

The Dark Hearts series has yet to disappoint. Not enough people talk about this series—Jagger Cole be doing God’s work over here. Strong FMC’s and delicious MMC’s. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series Hades definitely was a delight to read (Ares still my man though 😮‍💨)

rants while reading and spoilers

let me start by saying i looooved most of mr. cole's books. i liked his writing style, the story flow, the characters, and how all of his book revolves around the same fictional world.

however, this one didn't do it for me. i was beyond annoyed and frustrated reading this book. i have never skimmed so fast than what i did here, and i'm pissed that i even did it in the first place 😭 but i'm so irritated and all i can think was to finish hades and elsa's story. i can't believe the number of times i had the urge to dnf this, but i pushed through hoping it'll get better, unfortunately it didn't. then again maybe it's a me case and this will work for other readers.

below are the rants that i've written down while reading, so these are the most unorganized thoughts that went through my head.

- i'm not a fan of manwhore mmcs and this is my fault because i still read this even knowing from the blurb
- what the fuck happened to condom? hades is a freaking manhoe and elsa is supposed to be this smart lawyer but didn't even think about using a protection for her first time???
- had it been any other woman that night would he fucked her like the way he fucked elsa? would he also ditch using a protection? because that's what i get from that scene. he screwed elsa without knowing it was her so i guess that's how he will treat any other women.
- are you fucking kidding me? he got upset that elsa used him but according to his lines he only have sex because he wants to use women. so what is it? pride? toxic masculinity? double standard? he couldn't accept that some woman used him but he has no remorse using women too. the audacity of this jackass
- he's nuts, just because he took her virginity he's now staking claim over her. what kind of thinking is that?
- seriously elsa? why the hell did you agree to a sex only setup with him? girl, you're supposed to be smarter than this.
- i'm annoyed that a lot of people is backing elsa into a corner and she couldn't do anything about it. can't a girl have a break?
- i really liked her in the beginning, but then after all of these threats and her accepting hades proposition. she's slowly becoming an annoying weak, pathetic, and horny mess heroine. and i really really hate it when her character development is non-existent.
- "God, what is wrong with me." same girl, that's the running question in my head too for all of your dumb decision making. just why elsa? use your brain? ugh
- oh well, let's throw away professionalism out the window. and screwing your client is the best way to do that. bravo, elsa!
- what's with him leaving hickeys on her neck? caveman much
- “I’m the one who taught this little pussy how to fuck. How to come with my cock buried deep inside it. How to get wet and achy and needy when I’m not inside it. So yes, kitten,” he rasps. “It’s fucking mine.” if i can get inside a book and slap hades or kick his junk, i'll definitely do so.
- It’s been a month since that night at Club Venom. I haven’t been with a single other woman since. what a great achievement 🤦‍♀️
- very classy elsa, being wasted in a gala and acting like a witch. though from a different view it was really bad that hades bringing ow as his date. but do you seriously have to stoop so low?
- maybe it's the alcohol but wow she just made herself look even more pathetic. gosh why does her character went down from being a badass lawyer to pathetic heroine?
- fuck me! aside from being horny and a puddle of goo, she can't even string a coherent sentence anymore and is stuttering because he's half naked and apparently she lost her brain function.
- “And I like that I was your first, not because of any fetish regarding your fucking virginity. But because it saves me from having to go find, castrate and murder anyone else who’s ever touched you before.” it just doesn't stop does it? the nerve of hades to say these things when he fucked around so much before her.
- the daddy kink that came out of nowhere was icky.
- the reason the way he became the way he is now, is cruel and no child should have to go through that. but i don't think being a manwhore is the way to cope with that. maybe it's a me thing, but i can't wrap my head around it.
- there's a lot of things happened here and i think the issue with the double crossing was glossed over. the part where an obsessed stalker came unexpected. there's too much element that came up over the last 15% of the book, and i'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

overall, i think it was very obvious how much i disliked this book. i'm so excited for this, cuz i really loved the first two books, however, this didn't live up to my expectations. despite my frustrations here, i'll still wait and read for the succeeding books in this series.

safety warnings:
- no cheating
- ow (not really drama, but hades went to this gala with the ow cuz ares asked him to, she is gay though)
- om (elsa's crazy ex went unhinged at the end of the book)
- violence, sa, degradation/praise/daddy kink

4.5 🌟.

Crazy roller coaster ride!

This book had everything. The forbidden aspect, straight laced, good girl x dangerous playboy- bad boy, mystery, intriguing plot, familial bonds and so much steam.

I admit I was hesitant to read Hades’ book as he was portrayed as this play hard, man-whore in the previous books. But from their first encounter itself Elsa was like a thorn under his skin. Their equation was so good and chemistry- OFF THE CHART. His protectiveness towards Elsa’s sister was so cute. I enjoyed the progression of the story so much. Especially when the Kildare family and Drakos family came together.

But I felt the reason for Hades’ playboy behaviour wasn’t done well. Also in the last chapters some part was a little anti climatic and some part was done brilliantly (can’t explain without spoiling).
Overall a very enjoyable and engaging book. Can’t wait to read Gavan’s book next.

Safe, recommended.

I received an advance review copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

—good girl x bad boy.
—forbidden.
—possessive hero.

This was good, but slightly cringey. If y'all know me, then you know how much I despise the nickname "kitten". What, is she your pet cat that you just adopted tf??? Idk but that nickname's so not for me lol. Also, the whole conflict was wrapped up a little too quickly and Hades quickly went from doubting that Elsa had betrayed him to a light bulb suddenly going off in his head and him realising that she wasn't a narc. Like that was so abrupt why??? Elsa being a bitch - no matter how wasted she was - to Vanta absolutely did not sit right with me. That was so uncalled for and extremely shitty of her to do without reason. And the fact that she didn't even apologise later and that it was basically swept under the rug makes it even worse. One more thing that I've realised is that Mr Jagger Cole's books pretty much ALWAYS have a virgin heroine. And I hate that. So much. Like why tf is the hero always experienced but the heroine is the one who loses her virginity to the hero and he's the only man she's been with? Seems kinda hypocritical to me. And I'm so over that clichéd trope y'all. Regardless, this book was a good read, the smut was good and I did like how OTT Hades was so there's that ig. I just wish we'd gotten a solid ending and that there weren't so many plotholes. With that being said, I look forward to reading Gavan's book next!

- mafia
- virgin fmc
- touch her & die vibes
- BDSM, ish

Elsa Guin is an up and coming lawyer in a prestigious firm who happens to also be employed by the Drakos crime family for their legal and also not so legal activities, but Elsa also has a secret that could not only jeopardize her job but also her ability to be alive and breathing.

She too comes from a crime family, but has done her best to distance herself, and to stick it to her father further and not be used as a pawn, she foists her maidenhood on a rando in a sex club. Except he’s not so random, he’s actually Hades Drakos, the one member of the family she cannot stand.

This sparks her father’s anger and he and his constituents threaten her baby sister and attempt to blackmail her into giving up secrets on the Drakos family, all while she continues to get piped down by Hades.

Honestly with all the drama between crime families and the sexy times with Hades, I thought I would have enjoyed this more, but it was just ok. Some parts of this were so good and had me captivated, while other parts had me skimming and just wishing it was over already. Plus the ending and what happens to Elsa & her sister wasn’t something I expected, given that the person is literally mentioned like 2x in the book and wasn’t seen as a threat. Idk, it just didn’t work for me.

Holy Hades...this was deliciously deviant! Elsa and Hades were a power couple to envy and I loved their story. The God of the Underworld and the Ice Queen. These two were the perfect match to melt each other. I don't know where this series has been all my life but I am obsessed with it.

Why is "you're mine" so damn hot? Hades is one of those possessive, obsessive alpha males and Jagger just does it right.

“I was the first man to fuck you, kitten. And I’ll be the only man to fuck you.”

Elsa has a lot going on and finds herself at a masked club needing to lose her virginity to a stranger. When she sees the man notorious for being a womanizer, she decides to take advantage of the situation to have some control over her life that feels as if its starting to spiral. Hades has no idea that the woman he shared a hot night with is one of the top lawyers around that also works for his family. But when he finds out...well there is nowhere for Elsa to run. Elsa, despite trying, is helpless to resist the man that stars in all her dirty fantasies.

"My customary self, with my usual sense of utter control over everything, is already lying shattered in ruins around us. But the way he speaks to me, and the way he dominates me, and touches me, and fucks me is so consuming that something washes over me."

Hades is everything I love about alpha males in romance and Elsa is the successful and strong woman that has made something of herself even when the devil is knocking at her door. I enjoyed the plot and suspense element in here and the spice...o god the spice! Overall, a super enjoyable mafia romance.

Oh this is absolutely a 5 star read for me.
Hades was an absolute deviant in the most delicious way!!

Loved the enemies to lovers, playboy/Ice queen tropes with this book!

This book follows Hades who is in the Greek mafia and we have seen his wild unhinged ways in books 1 and 2 of this series. Elsa works in law and has worked her way up on her own, whilst parenting her younger sister.

Hades and Elsa know each other through her firm of which Hades and his brothers use frequently. He knows he is attracted to Elsa but also doesn’t think to hard about it seeing he is a one and done kind of guy. One night only. Elsa on the other hand still has her V and after her awful father (who is associated with the Bratva )is trying to barter her off, she decides to send an FU by losing it on a night to sex club. She turns up at first for work reasons, but is soon told she is not needed.

It’s after this with masks and wristbands on Hades and Elsa have their wild night.

Twist and turns are everywhere in this book and I love seeing characters you just know will get there own books!

This book had me hooked and the spice 🥵🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥

⋆ Virg!n FMC
⋆ Good girl x Bad boy

Sinful Hearts arc review ⚖️🔫💰

This was my first time reading a jagger cole book and I swear to god this book was like crack and I literally need to read every single jagger cole book. I’m fully hooked

Hades Drakos is a slightly psycho, possessive, dominant mafia prince with a filthy mouth and I loved every single moment of him 🤌🏼

Elsa Guin is a smart, hard working, successful lawyer, with ties to the Bratva. I absolutely loved her and strong willed and independent she was. She was absolutely a badass in my eyes for everything she’s done and accomplished

I literally could NOT put this down. I devoured this mostly within a day. I was just hooked - I needed to know what would happen next. I love when a steamy book provides an equally as good plot to go with the spice. And I was not prepared for that plot twist at the end!!! I literally was like screaming to myself like “noooo stfu!!!”.

Also I would like to have a little moment for Gavan. I love that psycho already and I can’t wait for his book. I just KNOW I’m gonna be just as obsessed with him. Also Cillian?!??! I didn’t get much of him but I already know he’s just my type 🤌🏼 I’m running to go read his book!

Sinful Hearts is the 3rd standalone book in the Dark Hearts series and I will absolutely be reading the first two and I’m so excited for Twisted Hearts and Gavan’s story 😭

RUN don’t walk to go buy it or read on KU!! 🫶🏼

This series continues to be a favorite of mine and Sinful Hearts is another amazing book! Jagger keeps writing these dark, spicy mafia books and I keep devouring them!

This can be read as a standalone but I adore this series and definitely recommend reading them all. This is Hades & Elsa's story:
- Greek Mafia
- enemies-to-lovers
- touch her and d!e vibes
- possessive/obsessive hero

Hades is one of the brother's of the head of the Greek mafia and has a reputation of being with a lot of women but never more than one night. Elsa is the uptight, cold lawyer and the Greek mafia happens to be one of her clients. Hades and Elsa have always held such animosity towards one another, until one night in a club changes everything.

The banter, angst, and spice were all unbelievable in this one! I already loved Hades from previous books, but this made me even more obsessed with him. And I have a soft spot for cold/misunderstood/villainized FMC's so I already liked Elsa from previous books but I really enjoyed getting to hear her personal story. The tension between Hades and Elsa was unreal and I never wanted their story to end! Highly recommend this book and the entire series!

This story will consume you. From the first page till the last. I am a super fast reader. On top of that, I usually read my books on my Ipad Pro which is super large. So when I started this 300+ book, on my Ipad it shows up as 244 pages and I consumed this puppy in two days. My initial thoughts were, wow how did it end so quickly. But I have to keep in mind, somethings have to be implied. Not everyone wants a 500+ book.

description

I am now a Jagger Cole fan and I mean a huge one. When this book first came out, I had two on the TBR to finish first. This book taunted me, that dark and delicious cover was calling out to me even tho I was engrossed in another story. I finally realize why I am fangirling over Cole, he truly writes the story from a man's perspective. But he expertly inserts the romance and woman piece. But this is Hades story. How an antihero finds redemption and learns to love. It was so fucking hot! When Hades falls for Elsa it is so dramatic and heartfelt, it's amazing. The new love concept is captures so very well.

The other note I would stress, you need to read this series in order. Each book, he continues the story of the previous couple and you get updates that only make the stories better. I really enjoy this series. It's dark, provocative and action packed. Well done.

The dynamic between Hades Drakos, the dark and dangerous "God of the Underworld", and Elsa Guin, a woman known for her proper and reserved demeanor, may seem unlikely at first, but as the story unfolds, it becomes evident that there's more to their relationship than meets the eye.

Sinful Hearts is an incredible story that will leave you breathless, panting, and wishing you could get into Elsa's and Hades's heads as much as they do. Whenever they are together, their verbal sparring never stops. But the contempt they feel is masking a more profound passion: a wicked desire for dominance and submission. Their passion intensifies as a mafia war breaks out between families, causing alliances to be questioned and lives to be lost.

With unexpected twists and turns, this book is an exhilarating ride. You never knew what was going to happen next! Also, the spice level in this story was just right. It didn't feel over-the-top or like it was added for shock value, but rather enhanced the romance and complemented the couple's adventurous nature.

Jagger Cole has outdone himself with this sultry and intoxicating addition to the Dark Hearts series. I am eagerly anticipating what he has in store for us next!

Dual POV
This is the third book in the Dark Hearts series and can be read on its own.

Tropes: opposites attract, dark mafia romance, enemies-to-lovers, sex club, "touch her and I'll unalive you" vibes, playboy in love

Safety Info/TW:

Thank you, Jagger Cole and Valentine PR, for providing an advanced copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

🌶🌶🌶🌶

I was excited to read Hades' book from reading the previous books back to back. I am late discovering Jagger Cole, but I loved each book in this series. I have definitely found a new favorite author.

Hades is part of the Greek Mafia and is seen as a player who refuses to have a girlfriend. He goes through a lot of women, but there is a reason for his behavior. He has a contentious relationship with their lawyer, Elsa. She is a smart and ambitious lawyer who has had to raise her little sister by herself while putting herself through law school since she was 18. Hades considers her an ice queen, and they definitely butt heads.

Elsa is actually the secret daughter of a member of the Russian Bratva. She is still a virgin, and her father wants to arrange a marriage to build an alliance with the Albanians. She goes to sex club to lose her V card, so her father can not use her. She decides to have a one night stand with Hades since she knows he has a great reputation for pleasing the ladies. Hades didn't know it was her since they wore masks.

When Hades realizes it was her, it changes everything, and things escalate between them. They had amazing chemistry, and I loved the banter. Hades is so possessive and protective of Elsa. The sex was 🔥.

I did think the ending wrapped up really fast, and I wished Hades had reacted differently to learning the truth about Elsa. I also thought she should have been honest and asked for his help. She had so many opportunities, and Hades already proved he was willing to do anything to protect her.

The mafia storyline was interesting and kept me hooked. This book was action-packed near the end, and there were quite a few twists and turns. I really liked the introduction to the head of the Russian Bratva, Gavan. I can't wait to read his book next. I loved seeing the previous characters and the bonds of this family. This is a fantastic series.

Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for providing this ARC.

But I’m pretty sure she could turn me into one.

Reformed manwhore always do work.

We are not going to talk about how this is the least interesting book of the series.
It's not a bad book at all.
But it's anticlimactic and the plot was messy to the core.

I knew Hades books would be one of my favorite of the series and it absolutely delivered! Hades and family are out to purchase a piece of land that is about to be worth billions and owned by the Albanian mafia. The Russian bratva are also after this piece of land, and Leo, the captain, will stoop to any level to get it, including trying to marry off his secret daughter and Drakos lawyer Elsa. Elsa sinks that plan intentionally by spending one secretive steamy night with Hades. Hades and Elsa carry the enemies vibe strongly but that night of passion spills into the real world as a mafia war ensues.

I definitely don't want to give too much plot away because that was one of the best parts. There were several moving pieces and strings that are connected, resulting in an interesting storyline beyond the romance. The steam is top-notch as always, and there's several scenes of it! Hades is a fantastic moody playboy that excels in dirty talk and pushing all of Elsa's buttons. His secretive soft side, though, is what makes him a true endearing hero. Elsa is a strong force in her career, and she's neither too sassy nor too sweet. She's the right blend of strong but intelligent. I loved this couple and am dying to know who will be the next duo in this series because I'm completely invested!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/6.

* I read an arc of this book thanks to the author and Valentine PR.*

I read this book in one sitting and I was excited to read Hades & Elsa's story since i saw in previous books how mad he was at her just because she wouldn't give him the time of day.
Overall the story was great and i had great time with it. I made 87 highlights and notes so that shows you how entertained and in it I was.

Hades seemed to me like a loose cannon because he would explode whenever something happened to his family no matter how "big" or "small". I especially loved how protective of Neve he became once she entered the family so I'm obviously already biased when I say I loved him.
He is a bit misunderstood by his family and even though he speaks against it, he didn't really gave any indication that what they thought of him wasn't true. I do love the relationship he has with his family and he would do literally anything for them.
Some things came out about what happened to him when he was younger and that grossed me out too. The way Jagger wrote it wasn't shocking to me or anything but i felt exactly like Hades felt. That is powerful writing to me when an author makes me feel some sort of way but especially when i feel like the main characters feel in the moment.
I loved Hades protectiveness and possessiveness and how for once in his life there was someone out there that he couldn't help but think about and not the other way around. He is someone that feels deeply even though people around think he just has a temper.

Elsa is someone I've been dying to know more about. She is this bad ass lawyer and gets everything done for everyone who is a client at the firm without doing unlawfully things (mostly 😂). She also told Hades off every single time so that naturally gets my gears going.
She seemed ( mostly to Hades) like she had a stick up her bum but she was just trying to escape her past and get a better future for her sister which i admired. I also loved how career driven she was and I appreciated the sacrifices she made when she was younger in order to take care of her sister.
She comes from "complicated" parents which i wasn't expecting. I expected that this person would be someone else. With that said she was in a tight spot and she tried to change the course and she still ended up against the wall.

The banter between Hades & Elsa managed to be sexy, hot but also fun. I laugh a time or two for sure.
I loved the comparisons and references Jagger had in this story, it really got me going. 🙃

Sexy times were chefs kiss even though Daddy came out of bit of the blue for me but i was fine with it cause it was hot. 🥵
Speaking of, i learned what cuckold is and that it's not my thing. This is about another character that is mentioned but boy that little fact didn't jived with me but hey no kink shaming, whatever gets you going is fine with me.

I loved Hades relationship with Elsa's sister. On their first meeting he ensures she is safe and that she feels safe afterwards and that made him even more lovable to me.
I loved the bromance with Sean too and it pains me what happened to him.

A little hold up i had was when Hades saved Elsa in the office and when the carpet is disposed off they didn't even talked about it. Or is even mentioned ever again in the story besides Hades telling someone about it. There was more than plenty opportunities right there and then for Hades to either ask or for Elsa to tell why and what was going on. With that said i'm not mad about what ensued right after that because it was hot but i still felt like a conversation should've happened.
I think she had the means to ask for help before things escalated. She had Ares who has being dying to get her to work for him exclusively so if anything he would be more than willing to help her out even though i think he would just because it was Elsa. But also Hades was right there, he would've helped her after she explained her situation.
Things could've still happened the way they did even if the Drakos family helped her in my opinion.

I hope Callie and Castle have a story because i'm my opinion that was teased before and i want it. Pretty please 🙂 but Twisted Hearts is next and it's Gavan's story which was surprising to me but now i wonder if Callie is the h because she is turning 21 and she ain't marrying the old dude cause the brothers ain't letting that happen but the h could also be Eilish so now I'm curious to know who is pairing with Galan and honestly I can't wait. From what i have seen of it, he is wicked smart and plays the game well so I'm excited for the next book.

that was... anticlimactic. to think this story has been in the making since book one in the series, hinting at the couple and building the groundwork, only for it to end like this. and it had so much potential, this was the book i was most excited about, i genuinely thought they'd be my favorites. the first half of the story was solid until it completely derailed, and i honestly don't know what nor how it happened. i already had the same issue with the last book's third act climax being almost an identical copy of the previous one, but this one managed to be even worse. it just didn't make sense, it felt detached from the rest of the story and it wasn't even a "plot twist", not a good one at least, rather something so outlandish that it gave me whiplash. the way the actual villain of the story was handled was unsatisfactory, to say the least, his ending wasn't even rushed but completely brushed over.
and i won't even comment on that closeted lesbian subplot that was casually dropped at random for it to turn into a "bury your gays" for no good reason, since the whole issue behind all that was also resolved off page with no real impact to the overall story. which begs the question of why even make it a thing in the first place.

✨Dark Romance
✨Mafia
✨Enemies to Lovers
✨Virgin Heroine

•Dual POV
•Stand-alone, but part of Dark Hearts Series

This series just keeps getting better & better! I am a huge fan of Jagger Cole’s books and this one did not disappoint! Mafia - Check, Dark Romance - Check, All the Spice? - YESSS 🥵🔥

Hades is known as the God of the Underworld. He is a typical playboy and doesn’t do relationships. Elsa is the daughter of man in the Russian Bratva, but she wants no part of him or his life. She has been raising her sister on her own for years and refuses to be caught under her father’s hand. Her virginity was on the table to try and pawn her off on someone, so she took matters upon herself and lost it at a sex club. Although they were masked, there was no denying the man she was with was Hades. The man she despises. The man she is currently the lawyer for. Yet, the man she can’t stop thinking about. They know they shouldn’t be together and it’s known when secrets that were meant to be hidden, don’t stay hidden.

Hades & Elsa’s relationship was anything but perfect. I loved how it took Hades a bit to figure out it was Elsa he was with that first night. But, once he realizes, he doesn’t stop thinking about her and he immediately brings out all the ‘MINE’ vibes. He also embodies the ‘Touch her & ☠️’ vibes and I am always here for that! 🥵

If you like dark romance, mafia, with secrets and a lot of spice, you need to read this book! 🔥

Hades and Elsa. Ares’s hot-tempered brother and their family lawyer.
This is my favourite book so far. I liked their chemistry a lot. I liked how he was with her, not hesitating for a second and not scared of his feelings. I liked Elsa a lot too, caring and devoted. She should have made some wiser choices thought.

I like the tension towards the end, I wouldn’t mind if it had lasted a bit longer. Things felt a bit rushed, like the resolution was missing.

Like in the previous book, the lack of protection was annoying, considering we have to do with supposedly smart people. And it was also strange how during their first time together he didn’t understand a thing. 🤔

-Dual 1st person POV
-Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5

Overall: 4/5 ⭐️
