This was a quick read and was just basic information on how to do a 10 minute meditation, sort of like a guide and then what were the benefits. If more details are needed, then probably you need to get the book.

A Free book. Thankfully! 26 pgs long ... 12 of which were an "excerpt" of their book "Get Some Headspace". The rest of the pages were strictly a published 'Advertisement' for their book. Every chance the authors got, they mentioned their book "Get Some Headspace". This book was NOT worth the price I paid ... and considering I paid NOTHING - $0.00 - for the book ... that should say VOLUMES about the "quality" of the book....

One of the benefits of meditation is mindfulness... We all need time for prayer to connect to God or just emptying our thoughts from distractions. Discover a way of relating to your thoughts and emotions in which you can feel calmer, clearer and happier.. We must find a place within ourselves to go where we can be the truest self!

~ Meditate as you walk, focus on object you see one at a time, as I look at birds, flowers, and sky... just enjoy without thinking too much!
~ As you lie down, don't think anything for 2 minutes (then increment the time!), and create the headspace where I allow my brain to rest

I really don't have big complains about the book. I wanted to know a bit about meditation and this book gave me the info plus it was free. So My curiosity got satisfied in about 30 pages which is how long the book is and for free. This is very to the point info mixed with some promotion of some other products they have.

The book was free, so I won't complain too much. A greater starter is you know absolutely nothing about meditation. Definitely a form of self-promotion for Puddicombe's "Headspace" campaign. I actually enjoyed the end of the book much more as he spoke of his journey with meditation. I could totally relate with the feeling as if your mind is always running.

It's a very basic introduction to meditating, not the best but it at least exposes you to some way of practicing meditation. The research section is awesome, great facts about some of the benefits of meditating.

Disappointing

I was hoping this would be a bit better, but all it amounted to was a commercial for another book.

A simple, quick read on meditation. Now the subject has more complexities; however, this is just a basic beginner introduction to help calm, simplify, and allow more productive energy flow during your day. Easy to follow tips. Always good advice to follow for all walks of live.
