This book explores the historical evolution of Pan-Africanism. Pan-Africanism is a dynamic movement, originating sometime in the eighteenth century, for advancing the solidarity of people of African descent who now live all around the world.
Not a terrible overview of pan-Africanism, but, like other books in the ...for Beginners and Introducing... series, suffers from a presentation style that often lacks flow. The art is terrible and looks like it was run through a fax several times. It's also somewhat dated since it was written in 1992.
