Just your bog-standard tragic autobiography.
Yes, the author has suffered a lot if tragedy and been left with the scars of unthinkable adversity and, while I admire his spirit and strength, the book just didn't 'do it for me'.
I suppose there are just so many of this type of book out there - and I be honest, I have read better.
Still, kudos to the author for at least trying. Perhaps it allowed him to get some things off his chest. In which case, it could have just been a private journal.

Very heartbreaking yet inspirational, this individual had a very very difficult life yet still continued to persist
