Genome: the graphic novel

Rate this book
In the near future, our everyday reality blends with advancements, such as fully computerized cars and holographic video games. Mallow is a single father and a college drop-out turned construction worker. He struggles to keep his talented son from the grip of a monolithic corporation, who owns his son’s genetic material. In this grim world, the American empire is starting to crumble: a bankrupt government, high unemployment, and a twisted form of foreclosures. Can Mallow discover the Achilles heel of this giant before his son is doomed, like so many other kids in Genome Inc.’s custody?

This novel is based on the award-winning screenplay by the same name. It’s a graphic novel, not in the obscene sense of the word, but rather a pictorial presentation of the story. Presented one panel at a time, the experience is dramatic and easy to view and read. (Be sure to turn your Kindle ninety degrees, for a fuller picture.)
