I really disliked this book. The characterization was weak, with a generally unlikeable heroine, her surly father, and a hero who was often somewhat clueless. In an effort to make her heroine sympathetic, the author overloaded her with all manner of grief, none of which she was handling well before or during the book. She came across as really in need of therapy. I generally plow through even books I don't especially like, thinking that perhaps the author will turn it around, but I skimmed the last 1/3 of the book. This is an author I will avoid in future.

Review:
This was my first time reading a book by this author even tho ive read other Super Romance Novels before but they bored me and this one did the same thing so i dont think these novels are for me.

The Characters were interesting to read about.

The Setting was beautifully described which made it easy to picture the place it was set in.

The Storyline didnt connect with the characters for me so Overall not the best one by Harlequin and why i wont be reading more by them in the future!!

It was sad, funny and frustrating too, but love wins out in the end and all is well

I absolutely loved this book from the vary first chapter. This love story was heart felt, suspenseful, and beautiful. I loved the slight back story and the way the author continued it. I love how the author made me feel like I'm their and experiencing every pitfall, downfall, and ironic moment until the end. I love romance books, but find very few that I would keep in my library and read over and over again. This is one book that I know I'll read again and again.

While reading this story just remember that through life hellish moments, unforgivable moments or even awkward moments, love can come to fruition.
