As someone who likes to visit a casino occasionally I thoroughly loved reading No Limits: How I Beat the Slots by Debbie Tosun Kilday. Sadly I never have the luck that she had however I did enjoy my trips and experiences.
When you read No Limits: How I Beat the Slots you are in awe of Debbie for her luck and knowledge of winning although the misfortunes she had with the “Tax People” was upsetting. I enjoyed “hanging” with her and the friends she made while playing the slots and was amazed at all the concerts and celebrities that she met along her journey as well. She made some GREAT memories and the things that she did are truly inspiring. I enjoyed reading her story and am very glad that she wanted to share her good and bad parts of her story with everyone.
I, for one, have been changed by her story……the next time I walk into a casino I am going to change my way of thinking. I will not go in thinking that I am there to “make a deposit” (as my previous way of thinking). I will go in with my head held high and say that I “am there to win !” Hopefully I will get a machine that feels like helping this girl out……either way I know I will be thinking about Debbie, her winnings and hoping I learned something by reading her book…..if anything I will have FUN !!!
A fascinating true story about a woman's relationship with casinos and slot machines. A warm story in a cold world. This isn't just about winning money, it's about what Debbie did with the money after she won.
