Life throws many events our way. Some are happy, some sad like losing a loved one. Our dreams are often a reflection of these events presented to us in bizarre forms that often do not make sense to us. We long to understand the events in our lives, sometimes wondering "Why? Why did this have to happen?" and other times something so positive happens we say "How! I can't believe it!". Life is a maze of twists and turns, of valleys and mountains. Janis I. Monroe is a short story, article, novel writer and poet. Her articles have been published through the Yahoo Contributor Network as well as in the National Health Federation Magazine and website. Her poetry has appeared in several chapbooks by the J.M.W. Publishing Company and has also appeared in a Vermont magazine, EverChanging, and a U.K. magazine, Poetic Hours. When she’s not writing, you can find her in the kitchen, singing at the top of her lungs while she creates gluten free meals and desserts for her family.
